Magdalena and Tilo are superb hosts having recently taken stewardship of the wonderful CasaCamino. The concept of the thoughtful buildings perfectly executed by previous owners, Sue and Kim and set in a stunning location is indeed in great hands now as all the best features are retained, including sublime comfort and oppulance, great service and food and just the right balance between friendliness and professionalism. We felt like old friends returning (for our fourth visit) despite meeting Tilo and Magdalena for the first time. We thoroughly enjoyed dinner and breakfast was really special. It was also great to see a familiar Peregrino welcomed for a coffee before we left to resume our journey and the last few stages to Santiago de Compostela. Next time I visit it will be a special part of a shore visit whilst at the start of a Mediterranean cruise and arriving by car for lunch and it will be the highlight of our day. Casacamino is always special, to be anticipated and much looked forward to.

Casa Camino Turismo Rural was an unexpected oasis in a small hamlet along the Camino Primitivo. Very modern, yet rustic facilities with cozy common areas and a beautiful outdoor lounge area. The hosts are English and take great pride in creating a relaxing and inviting atmosphere. The rooms were spacious with comfortable beds and dinner was absolutely amazing...the red pepper appetizer was so creative and delicious. Backpack transport to the next town we were hiking to was also available and recommended due to the unseasonable heat. We could not have been happier with our stay and we highly recommend this lodging to pilgrims and vacationers alike.

My husband and I are walking the Camino Primativo. I booked a night at CasaCamino because we were finding many other accommodations full. We had no expectations. From the outside, it looked nondescript. I rang the bell and Magdalena opened the door with a warm and welcoming smile. That’s when the magic happened. This is an exquisite property, lovingly and creatively restored. It has all the creature comforts, done in the most artful and tasteful manner. The room was spacious, the bed so comfortable, and the food delicious. It was an amazing respite before we joined the Camino the next day. Our stay fed my heart, my soul, and my stomach! I would stay here again and again and again.

Nach 32km auf dem Camino Primitivo und mit schwerem Gepäck am späten Nachmittag endlich angekommen. Super netter Empfang, tolles warmes Zimmer, lecker Abendessen und lecker Wein, Betten waren sehr angenehm, Zimmer toll gemacht, Frühstück persönlich zubereitet, einfach nur grandios. Danke an euch zwei und natürlich an die Kinder. :-)

Sul Camino Primitivo di Santiago de Compostela, in una minuscola località sulle colline a circa 500 mt di altitudine e nei pressi di un parco eolico. Splendida posizione e vista, atmosfera bucolica, poche vecchie case ed una di queste trasformata in un perfetto mini albergo. Bellissima ristrutturazione che combina perfettamente le esigenze di valorizzare una struttura tradizionale con soluzioni innovative e funzionali, un grande e curato giardino; tutto perfetto e curato nei dettagli da una copia tedesco/polacca che gestisce la struttura, Magdalena impareggiabile per simpatia ed accoglienza, ottima anche la cucina. Insomma se siete sul Cammino verso Santiago di Compostela non perdete questa sosta

Decoración de la casa en estilo inglés muy cuidada, tanto en el exterior como en el interior. Los anfitriones son voluntariosos pero sin experiencia: se olvidaron la reserva, no tenían nada de bodega ni casi comida, el desayuno muy caro. La relación calidad-precio es ahora mala.
