Ambrosia - Timeless Hosting

Our stay at Ambrosia Timeless Hosting was a wonderful way to end our three week trip to Sicily. The location is perfect for visiting Palermo. The cathedral, palace, markets, shopping , beautiful parks and more are all within easy walking distance of this safe pretty neighbourhood. The rooms are exceptionally attractive, clean and comfortable. We appreciated the spacious bathroom and that there was plenty of hot water and toiletries. The tasty and substantial breakfast buffet was a nice way to start our day. Also, we enjoyed the company and conversation with our very helpful and gracious host and hostess who were always available and quick to respond. to any requests. I thought the price was very reasonable for such a wonderful hotel. My only regret was that I hadn’t booked the hotel for the first leg of our vacation in Palermo. If we come back to Palermo we will definitely stay at Ambrosia. Maria (our hostess) thank you for a lovely stay. We hope to see you again.

What a fabulous find Ambrosia Timeless Hosting was. It is located in a quiet lane very close to the cathedral and also the entrance gates to the town, yet central to everything. The owners have done a magnificent job renovating an ancient stone property. In doing so, they left many of the original stone wall structures and complemented this with glass and metal, and the guest rooms have all modern conveniences and lovely bathrooms. So it is like going back in time with all the modern luxuries. The friendly hosts Maria Chiara and Angelo went out of their way to assist us and organised a driver for our next destination, suggested restaurants and attractions to visit and booked taxis. A simple, delicious breakfast is served for guests each morning in a lovely room. We would love to return and have wonderful memories of a delightful stay in this beautiful building. Highly recommend.

Ambrosia is stunning and charming! A must experience for any stay in Palermo. Just steps from the Duomo and city center, makes walking very convenient. Staff was so friendly and kind, offering all kinds of recommendations from things to do and places to eat.

Creative, Charming, Restful! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Ambrosia-Timeless Hosting. This warm boutique is so creatively renovated, adding modern amenities while maintaining the classic old-world charm. Quiet, well appointed rooms in an ideal location to explore the vibrant areas of Palermo. Maria welcomed us with delicious lattes and local pastries upon our arrival. Her restaurant recommendations for both lunch and dinner were absolutely perfect. Breakfast was delicious. We highly recommend this amazing spot!

We just returned from our stay in Sicily. We spent 2 nights in Palermo at Santuzza. What a beautiful and interesting property. The owner, Giovanni and his wife did a magnificent job in renovating an ancient property. In doing so, they left many of the original wall structures and frescoes. The updated bathrooms are fantastic. The location can't be beat with the Palermo Cathedral just yards away. Breakfast was delicious and we found the entire staff to be super friendly. We hope to return to Palermo and will certainly return to this most charming property.

What a wonderful place to stay. Stepping off the street through a non-descript door you enter an exquisitely renovated boutique B&B that has retained original stone walls, beautifully painted ceilings and an ancient staircase. This all contrasts with contemporary glass and metal finishes that somehow compliment each other to create a fusion of new and old. The rooms are of a reasonable size and spotlessly clean. The bathroom has modern fittings and is very comfortable. Breakfast is served downstairs. It is simple, but delicious and Giovanni ensures you have everything you need and personally makes your coffee. The location is superb - a few metres from the cathedral and a 5 minute walk to Quattro Canti. It is walking distance to everything you will want to see in Palermo and yet in a very quiet spot- an oasis away from the busy streets. Just be aware that there is a transparent glass wall between the bedroom and the bathroom, which some guests may not like. Other than that, this is where we will stay again should we go back to Palermo.
