Alma Hotel

If you visit Palermo, the Alma Hotel is a great location for walking to the must see parts of the city. Palermo can be a bit daunting but all the staff at the hotel were incredibly friendly and helpful. The room was spacious and the bed was lovely and comfortable, with memory foam pillows and mattress. The mini-bar was free, with fresh supplies of bottled water and soft drinks. A good breakfast is provided to start the day, especially enjoy the artisanal pastries. A special shout out to Michele and Francisco on reception, who were so friendly and welcoming, asking how your day had been and what you had seen. You knew you could ask any staff member for help or advice and they would be more than happy to assist.The airport transfer arranged by the hotel was also first class, pleasant and reliable drivers. If you visit Palermo, the Alma Hotel is a great place to stay. Externally, you would not be aware that its a hotel given the building structure but completely different once you step inside!

A friendly and clean hotel. Staff were friendly and very accommodating. A little walk to the centre of the town. Water and soft drinks replenished daily in the room at no charge Breakfast was nice. Hot and cold food. Lots of delicious cakes. Teas , coffees and fresh juices. We had a small balcony to sit and gaze outside. The only downside was there was no community are to gather with friends or family if you wanted to get out of your room at night.

We are accustomed to big cities and while Palermo can be a bit overwhelming, Alma was our refuge. Our room was spacious and spotless as was the bathroom. Each staff member was friendly, helpful and professional. This hotel is clearly well-managed.

This is the most friendly, accommodating, and helpful staff we've ever had the pleasure of meeting - anywhere!. The hotel is comfortable, clean and well-located. This was our second stay here in as many years and we plan to return next year. We highly recommend this establishment!

Alma hotel is excellently placed to visit all parts of Palermo on foot or by public transport. It's smart, modern, clean and with a large, mostly young, friendly and helpful staff. The breakfast is very good and varied. The bedroom we had was spacious and comfortable with an excellent bathroom. It's well insulated for light and from the inevitable noise from a busy city outside. The only minor thing we didn't like was the television on a music channel during breakfast; who watches it, is it necessary? We would go there again.

Stayed here for first visit to Palermo. Hotel was very clean and staff were very friendly and welcoming. Great breakfast buffet to start each day. Convenient valet car parking, if needed, but location is perfect to walk to tourist sites. The Hotel Alma staff went beyond requirements to return some left property. Wonderful experience, this is our hotel for a future return to Palermo.

Had A great time at Alma hotel. Staff is incredibly helpful and facilities top notch. Our room was very clean and had all the amenities. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful. Location was close to most major sites within easy walking distance. I would recommend this hotel to everyone.

The hotel was very nice. Friendly and helpful staff, the room was clean and big enough. The option for gluten free breakfast could be better, please work on it. The location of the hotel is also very good. Close to all sights and still quiet. The rooms are a bit ring hearted but we still slept well. I can only recommend it and would book it again at any time.

We arrived into Palermo train station and had a 25 minute walk along a very busy road to the hotel which was reasonably easy to find, although the outside is not attractive and you start to wonder what you have booked, once you get out of the lift and into reception, you are greeted with friendly welcoming smiles from the many helpful young staff. Our room was very big, comfortable and spotlessly clean. The contents of the mini bar are free (water, coke, orange), there is a kettle with tea,coffee etc., toiletries in the bathroom. We slept well and were given ear plugs but didn’t need them. The location is very good. The breakfast was basic but very good. I recommend this hotel for a short stay.
