BB 22 Charming Rooms & Apartments

Wonderfully light filled room with kitchenette, spacious and very clean. Amazing stay. Daniel welcomed us at check-in and shared wonderful sightseeing ideas that are relevant to our plans. Breakfast and coffee were good. We stayed 3 nights, each morning, they would see how we were doing and made sure any sightseeing questions were answered. Even before checkout, Daniel told us about this Sunday only flea market at Piazz Marina so we wouldn't miss it! There is no elevator, so be prepared to walk up stairs with your bags. But the experience was certainly worth it.

Beautiful accommodation. Staff and service were very helpful. Nice breakfast. We enjoyed our stay and will come again. Great location with a short walk to most of the sites of Palermo, museums, bars, restaurants, cathedrals, and harbor.

This was a lovely central place to stay in Palermo. The initial check-in communication was fantastic and the assistance in getting our bags up the stairs was very much appreciated. The room was comfortable with a great balcony to sit and enjoy a wine while taking in the view. An added bonus is the restaurant right outside the front door. The food was delicious!!

We stayed at the BB22 Rooms when we arrived in Palermo, and again at the end of our trip at the BB22 Palace. We were very positively impressed with both of these properties, including the accommodations, the people, and the services. Our driver Tony was waiting for us when we arrived the airport, with the transportation we had arranged through the hotel, and the Rooms desk manager Daniel had stayed late to welcome us to the hotel when we arrived. The accommodations are very comfortable, and at the Rooms we had a great view through the city to the harbor. The bathrooms were large by European standards, and at both properties had been fully updated and were very clean. Breakfasts were great. Throughout our two stays at the two BB22s, all of the staff were cheerful, friendly, and very helpful with directions, local information, restaurants, etc. When a railroad strike caused us to modify our reservations and add an additional night, Emmanuelle moved rooms around on short notice and found space for us, and Alice coordinated our transportation to return to the airport. I don't know how much more anyone could ask or expect of a hotel and its staff. We highly recommend both the BB22 Rooms and BB22 Palace. Thank you to all of them.

Like many places in Europe it had lots of stairs, if you have lots of luggage get a room on the lower floor. If you arrive midafternoon there will be no one there to let you in. It’s very confusing. The communication between the hotel and the client needs to be better. I did receive a WhatsApp message but did not know about it. That was the only issue. The location is great, the employees were too. Breakfast and the sitting room area was a nice touch.

The good: Decent location Nice common areas Honor Bar The Bad: Beds, pillows and bedding are terrible Communication re: check in process and room assignments is awkward Seriously. Before you get there realize there is no elevator and pack accordingly.
