Apollonion Asterias Resort and Spa

Hi all, We have just returned home ,we stayed a week. I would like to mention a few things. All good. Front of house , really helpful and they make you feel so welcome. we got a lift to our room with luggage. We were upgraded to a suite, what a touch, this holiday was my wife's 40th Birthday treat. wow is all I can say,what a room. This is the cleanest hotel ive been too, I fully appreciate that the guests play a part of achieving this, but the hotel team are all over it. I didn't see one bit of rubbish. House keeping, was second to none , everything we asked for they did. The pool up in Asterias was amazing, alarm clean and there was plenty of sun loungers. there's a guy who never stops tidying up and reorganising the loungers etc... hes great. The Asterias pool bar, Angela and Jenny are amazing, they work so hard give 100%.The bar is open from 10am - 6pm Food, im a fussy eater and i always filled my plates, Breakfast was great , omelettes, fried egg, poached, scrambled, sausage ,bacon, cereal , fresh fruits, etc... Dinner/Lunch, Fish, chicken, pork, chips, Pasta , salad, chicken nuggets , pizza, deserts, etc... Evening Meal, Fresh Vegetables, salad, Chicken, beef, pork, fish, pizza, deserts.. The waiters work so hard, fresh coffee/tea to your table, Alcohol and soft drinks water. All inclusive drinks, Local beers, Cocktails such as ..Sex on the beach, Moijito, cosmopolitan ask they make. Rum, Vodka, Whisky, Disarno, and more. soft drinks and water. Entertainment, great for you kids from 8pm- then they mix it up from 9pm for all ages. Great team. Through the day they do pool activities, stretches, dance, water polo. There's 3 main bars, all have different opening times, I belive the Midnight is ladt orders. The beach, 5 min walk, there's 4 bars to the right of thr beach, drinks 4.50- 5 euros for beer, Cocktails from 8 euros. Alyas, the bay watch bar, Sombreros and the Averto bar, We had a few in all, they all look putvyo the sea, some offering beach seating and loungers with table service. The Sea, im 6ft 6, and I walked out 50m, the water was still waist height. Brilliant for young uns, theres Boat rides, pedalos and jet skis. Shops, theres 2 shops in the Resort. also 2 shops on the way to the beach. There's a little tavern on the way to the beach, Antonio's. Great food and affordable We have booked for next year same time for 10 days this time. overall. You wont be disappointed, its quiet and your left alone , unlike turkey. They food is great, the Hotel is amazing. they staff and locals make you feel very welcome. 2 great pools, 3 great bars, More bars and restaurants on the beach if you fancy a change.
