Ocean Private Villas - Pefkochori Halkidiki

Actually, we never write reviews in portals but this accommodation really deserves it! We give it 11 out of 10 possible stars! We were in Pefkochori with our two children in the first week of April. We rented one of the four villas from Private Ocean Villas. As it was still quite cold at the time, we had our own pool heated as an additional service. The children really enjoyed it. It was 24 degrees in the pool and around 15 degrees outside. Brilliant! It was still cold but with lots of sun and still few tourists. The villa is in a class of its own. 3 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms. Kitchen and dining area. The pictures in the portal are definitely not fake! Nothing is missing! Super modern, great beds and a great and super well-kept outdoor area with its own outdoor kitchen! You can just feel the love and perfection of a family business here. Yiannis and his wife were absolutely lovely. Every day they brought us little treats such as a Greek cake or honey and wine. We have never experienced such genuine hospitality anywhere else. Many thanks to you! We would love to come back! Family Bunke 10.04.2025.

We stayed in Villa Ithica- Ocean Private Villas. Overall we had a nice holiday however there were some factors that let this villa down significantly. We were a group of 5 adults and 1 toddler. This villa is absolutely NOT child friendly, the stairs are dangerous for little ones and the outdoor area isn't secure. Another indicator that this isn't suitable for small children is that the bedrooms do not allow for a cot. The cot was placed in the biggest bedroom however it still meant we were unable to fully open our door and we had to climb over the bed to access the balcony. The cot only just fitted between the end of the bed and the wall, it was VERY cramped and left little floor space for getting dressed. The villa as a whole is very small, more suited to 4 people. The outdoor space is lovely and spacious however indoors it is not big enough to seat more than 2 people for breakfast. Additionally there is very little wardrobe space meaning we had to leave some of our clothes in the suitcase. To it's credit, it is clean and modern and has nice features such as smart TV's in each room. The pool area, as already stated is lovely, though we found the Villas CCTV that overlooked us a bit uncomfortable. The villa is also overlooked by the reception building therefore does lack privacy. It has good access to a beautiful beach. The derelict buildings behind the villa do somewhat ruin the asthetics of the pool area however this is beyond the control of the Villa Owners. We were most disappointed with the pool. It is very cold as it is shaded most of the day. We were quoted €550+VAT to heat it, which we felt was an unreasonable cost on top of what we had already paid. The 'jacuzzi' is also cold, and only had 2 jets and one seat. It is not a jacuzzi! We had to buy a paddling pool for my toddler to use as she went blue in the swimming pool, it was rarely used throughout our stay. We raised our concerns with the villa owners, they are very friendly however didn't offer any solutions to the issues around the villa not being suitable for a small child. This again was disappointing.

Very clean, very pleasant and quiet place! Very professional and friendly staff! A very spacious and beautifully decorated yard as well as a swimming pool, without which a vacation would certainly not be complete! Any recommendation! Rating 9.8

The standard for the perfect vacation spot. Simply put, it is PARADISE. Clean, quiet, convenient, all facilities available. My wife and I wanted to get away and be alone. This served our needs perfectly. For one day we were alone. For three days a relative joined us. Every night we visited a different local restaurant for a beautiful, healthy dinner is a different picturesque spot, once seaside, once on a seaside mountain lookout, once in a quaint town square. Hospitable host.

We booked The villa for 3rd to 10th October 2022. It was amazing . The Villa is unreal, spotless, spacious, fabulous outdoor area with everything you could need including bathrobes and slippers. When we arrived Nafsika had a welcome pie for us and a few bits in the fridge. We felt soo at home! We chose to have the pool heated as we had 2 teenagers with us it was heated to over 30c all week that was the best decision as it was cold in the pool next door that wasn’t heated. The villas were just a few minutes from the beach and 10 minutes walk from the boardwalk where all the restaurants and bars are. The walk home was lit up and we walked it every night. I would highly recommend these villas again and even though I’m not one for going back to the same place twice I am considering going back next year!

Absolutely fabulous from start to finish. The villas are beautiful, brand new and modern - 2 minute walk to the beach and 15 minute walk into town. All the rooms have a lovely en-suite and very comfy beds. You get robes too so feels extra luxurious. The pool area was lovely - big, clean pool with plenty of sun loungers. The owners could not do enough for us - we had a lovely friendly welcome and they accommodated our early check in request at no extra cost. They left us drinks and ice in the fridge, made us a pie for breakfast, and delivered home made jam, coffee and wine to us during our stay. We felt really special and so looked after. We will definitely be back, could not recommend this place more. Thank you so much.
