Our third visit to Descanso, and we booked visits #4 and #5 while we were there. The attention to detail and service remain the same, if not better. The location can't be beat, closer to the downtown Palm Springs area than many other similar hotels. THIS is our new happy place!

First visit but a truly superb facility. The front desk and serving staff throughout the resort are exceptional customer service agents. They quietly make you feel very special. The rooms are beautifully appointed and serviced to a very high standard. Breakfast and lunch included makes it a perfect luxury escape for some good ‘me’ time.

My husband and I stayed at Descanso Resort for 3 days for some much needed relaxation. This is a great place to relax. The place is beautiful and quiet, and they provide great breakfast and lunch, so we were able to stay at the pool all day! The staff was very friendly and helpful as well! We will definitely return.

A truly beautiful and relaxing setting, very lush and private! Rooms are very spacious and very comfortable! The staff is amazing, very friendly, always there if you needed anything, and always made a point of checking in with you to make sure you were happy, content and/or needed anything, a wonderful team that work well together! We absolutely loved our stay. It was our first time at Descanso (we have stayed at Santiago Resort several times.) This resort is amazing is too. The stars of both of these resorts are the staff. They are amazing. They create a welcoming environment that is also incredibly comfortable and indulgent.you feel special the entire time. The lush surroundings, perfect temperature pool, impeccably clean rooms, great breakfast, wine happy hour etc etc etc. location is super convenient to downtown and also easy for getting to the tram. We are sold and will be back. Again, it needs to be said, the staff are all amazing!

An amazing modern oasis that serves up fabulous hospitality. Impeccably maintained with perfectly detailed service for everyone. Walking distance to Palm Springs nightlife but if you didn’t want to leave the property and just chill by the fire pit it’s ok too. Charles Zalepesky makes you feel welcome from the moment you step inside. Looking forward to next time.

Having been a frequent guest since Descanso’s opening, I’m thrilled to report there has been no diminution of service or ambience. I’d say the ambience has increased as the landscaping has filled in and become more lush. It’s truly an oasis seemingly embraced by the San Jacinto mountains.

First off, the location is excellent, right off Indian Canyon just north of downtown. The rooms are modern, clean and spacious. I really liked the complimentary breakfast and lunch they provide. And the snacks, soda and coffee available 24 hours are very convenient too

Even better than we had hoped. Large, comfortable room overlooking the pool and lush courtyard. Extremely friendly, helpful, and attentive staff. And the tasty, substantial complimentary breakfast and lunch was a great bonus. We will definitely be back. Thanks, Descanso!!
