Hotel San Lorenzo - Adults Only

This is a fantastic hotel for anyone wanting something traditional and not corporate or could be anywhere. The hotel is small , has lots of steps so not so good for people with mobility issues. The location is excellent for the cathedral, waterfront, shops and a variety of great restaurants and bars. The staff are very friendly and accommodating and go out of their way to make guests feel welcome.

This is a very old hotel with steep stairs & no lift though there’s a unique pulley system to get cases upstairs. The staff are all great & very helpful. Beds extremely comfortable and an excellent shower with plenty of hot water. Breakfast is delicious with eggs prepared to order, yummy fresh bread/rolls/pastries and lots of fruit. The pool is small with very comfortable lounger round. Hotel location is excellent in the Old Town & a few minutes walk from the port. Highly recommended for this authentic hotel.

This is a superb boutique hotel right on the edge of the old town of Palma and within easy walking distance of all the sights. Lovely room, great plunge pool and excellent breakfast. Thanks so much to Conti and the staff for a relaxing and enjoyable stay.

Visited Hotel San Lorenzo for the second time, bringIng our two adult sons with us. We had a wonderful time, the rooms were beautiful, laying by the pool and bringing us G&T's was just idyllic and we had lovely breakfasts every morning. The staff couldn't do more for us and were so friendly.

I agree with most of the reviews, highligting a few things: - the junior suite is very dark, just one window in a 40-50 sqm. - we had a nice terass but it is warm in August so it cannot be used, hopefully better when cooler - I misplaced my shoe implant making me crawl on the floor, do not do that because you will find that they do not clean under cupboards, side boards etc... - the selection at breakfast is very limited + staff firendly and service minded + pool get a lot of flowers and leaves, however they do a great job cleaning it every morning + location - close to everything The Big Warning! We booked a room for three persons, got the total amount for the stay when booking. Got the confirmation email from the hotel with the same amount, specified per day and total for 3 persons. When we check out they charge the card with another, higher amount! They also do this without me approving it, using the credit card information left when booking the room - been staying at 100+ hotels during the years but never experienced anything like this. According to the hotel staff this has been done before, he is SCAMMING tourists systematically! The owner thinks he is above the law and can do whatever he likes. I have the supporting documentation so the hotel has now been reported and hopefully an investigation is initiated. I DO NOT recommend you to give your creditcard information to this hotel, the are plenty of other hotels to choose from in the area!

Back for our 5th visit to San lorenzo.great bespoke hotel in the heart of old Palma,lovely small pool in the raised garden ,rooms very Mallorcan ,breakfasts are superb ,and the staff or very nice and hard working . removal of the honesty bar by the pool was a disappointment , but overall a lovely stay .
