Hotel Palia Tropico Playa

Quite simply an Absolutely amazing hotel. Great location right on the beach. Spotlessly clean. Great pool and pool bar. Stunning roof terrace. Great staff, so friendly and efficiently run. And last but not least the food was magnificent, every dish, every meal time. So many different varieties of food and home made cakes and Puddings simply from heaven. We will definitely be returning in futre

Stayed here in September for 6 nights on an all inclusive package. We had a front facing sea view room. The views were spectacular. The room was tastefully decorated and well appointed. The restaurant area was never over busy. Breakfast was very good, with plenty of choice. We only had lunch and dinner a couple of times as we preferred to try the numerous restaurants in the resort. What we did have was good, so no complaints at all. The pool bar was a lovely area to sit during the day. Plenty of drink options and numerous snacks. The only slight disappointment was the evening entertainment, or I should say lack of it. There were a couple of quiz nights, but that was pretty much it. However there were plenty alternatives in the resort, so not a big issue. All in all, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay, and would definitely visit again

the room was always well cleaned and tidy! the hotel offers entertainment after dinner at the pool bar. The staff is smiling and responsive! The food was very tasty, varied and always in abundance! The relaxation area is large, the pool is very clean and the hotel is next to the beach.

Great hotel wonderful experience from the moment we arrived very friendly informative staff Ahmed always acknowledged you every time he saw you so pleasant . Our suite on the 6th floor was amazing with excellent sea view right to Torranova fabulous at night too wonderful with massive balcony to sit out. And enjoy the view the most amazing bathroom food was excellent and a special mention for Simone at the snack bar what a happy guy he brought snacks round his crepes were delicious nothing too much trouble he is an absolute credit to the hotel which was immaculate and the lifts were so quick never had to wait. The roof top pool was fabulous with very comfy sunloungers and jose making the best moitos and fabulous music at the pools. The Tropico beach bar is not included as we knew before we went but great prices as you get a discount lovely staff we went in most nights . The manager was very visible day and night there would never be any trouble speaking to her if you needed too we didn't have any issue my only comment would be people can smoke everywhere and this isnt nice there should be designated areas not by the pools or snack bar this was the only thing that let it down otherwise it would be 5* would definitely return but don't seem able to book for next year even on their own web page will keep trying

Had a brilliant stay here at Tropico Playa at the beginning of August. Staff are friendly especially Ahmed on reception who always said hello and Thomas doing aqua aerobics and the bingo quiz(he was so entertaining and had many nationalities to deal with). Restaurant and bar staff worked hard and restaurant and rooms lovely and clean. Plenty of food and drink all day, my sons loved the pizza especially. Some nights were slightly themed like Mexican and Chinese but there was always other choices too. Maybe the cold meats, cheese and salad could be covered as I saw an occasional fly. Pool area was great, no issues with sun beds. Pool noodles and balls were bought out at times, one day this led to a mass pool dodgeball game which my 15 years loved. Only disappointment is that it closed at 6pm, during high season with the heat it would be nice to stay open later. Music was played at the right level. Entertainment is slightly lacking, I would say this hotel isn’t aimed at younger children. My teenagers played darts but there could be more things arranged. Suggested a pool Table in the pool bar area, doesn’t have to be live entertainment although I’m sure this would be appreciated. We had 2 rooms and both did not have working safes. We did report but it wasn’t fixed so had to hold of passports. Hotel is across the road from the beach, sometimes after eating in the air conditioned restaurant we would sit out the front and watch the world go by, evenings spent at the pool bar. Went up to look at the roof terrace area, view was amazing but we didn’t stay as it was so hot in the August heat . Despite any issues we had a wonderful time and wouldn’t hesitate to come back again!

Lovely experience, unlimited drinks, food, and sea entertainment. More of kids activities required. After dinner live music and other entertainment should be included everyday. Hospitality of the staffs is amazing. Perfect holiday.
