Me resulta incomprensible cómo Hilton puede prestar su nombre para esta payasada. En resumen, es un lugar deplorable y la atención es pésima. Pareciera que les hacemos un favor al estar ahí, ya que el personal no tiene idea de su papel; son groseros y totalmente desmotivados, que solo saben sabe decir "la culpa es del hotel, no mía", como si él no trabajara ahí. Mi habitación no tenía aire acondicionado y lo único que pudieron ofrecer fue una habitación al frente, pero sin servicio de transporte. Eran las 11 de la noche y esperaban que me trasladara con todo el equipaje a un hotel de mala muerte. Finalmente, me prestaron un ventilador para que lo colocara frente a la cama. Pasé una noche miserable. En la mañana, no tenía expectativas respecto al desayuno, y no me equivoqué. Supuestamente es de 6 a 10, pero a las 8 tuve que pelearme con otro huésped por una rebanada de pan. Ni hablar de la limpieza, que era un asco. Lo peor de todo es que me ofrecieron una devolución y que escribiera por aquí para ver si la aplicación lo resolvía. ¡Por favor, no confíen en este hotel, es una absoluta desgracia, saldrán decepcionados, sudados, y hambrientos! Al final en la recepción me amenazaron con llamar a l policía para que me sacaran del hotel, y que yo los estaba filmando. Miserables!

This hotel was one of the worst my family and I have visited. The first morning we stayed the toilet overflowed and flooded our entire room because the plumbing at this hotel is a joke. We were forced to move to another floor and the plumbing there was the same. When we complained we were told that we were at fault because we were expected to know that you shouldn’t flush toilet paper in Panama City?! We had visited a number of different hotels and Air B&Bs and all of them were strong enough to handle toilet paper. Plus some other places that we visited provided signs ( which this hotel didn’t) stating what not to flush. In addition to this the walls were stained and metal fixtures in the bathrooms were rusty. The pool is nothing like in their website- looked green and moldy!! Overall this hotel was below standard that I expected from the Hilton Brand!!

Stayed here for 1 night during a short visit to Panama city. I am a Hilton Diamond member so I booked the standard room and we usually get a free upgrade, didnt happen this time which is fine as it was a short trip. We did get free late check out until 2pm and complimentary bottles of water. The reception staff was very nice and pleasant, and made sure we felt welcome. The hotel's location is good if you wish to be in the financial district. It is walking distance to Via Espana, and Via Argentina is a short walk away as well so you can be sure there will be plenty to choose from as far as restaurants and bars. It rained very hard the night I was there so I ended up having dinner at the next door restaurant, a very good Japanese joint called Matusuei. My only complain would be the pool, it needs a little TLC. Although they do offer towels, the pool area itself lacks ambience, maybe a little background music (nothing too loud or vulgar) and a little artwork on the walls would help. There is no bar up in the rooftop, but I did see a lady bringing beverages from the lobby to some of the patrons up there. I brought my own beer and food (which is allowed as far as I was told). I believe you can also buy a day pass to use the pool and showers. Bedding was good, very consistent with other Hilton brand hotels I have stayed at. Overall a good stay but nothing to write home about.

Horrible Hotel, it can not a Hilton hotel chain, room is in bad condition, shower with mould, mattress is bad, furniture is damaged with glue residue, no usb plugs, desk can not provide adapters, room was dirty, full of hair, towels was dirty, dirty walls, broken iron, breakfast OMG, plastic plates and cups, just bananas, butter, slices of bread, I had to buy my own ham as there is nothing available, coffee, instant juice, and goes on and on, avoids staying there, is not a Hilton chain, don’t make this Mistake.

Beautiful lobby, very good mattress, king size. Room and hallway a little dated but overall very clean and pleasant. Breakfast could have better options such as whole wheat bread, fresh croissant. Reception held our bags for us more than once, great service attitude.

Due to the protests in Panama, I did not want to stay by Avenida Balboa as I usually do so decided to stay here. What a mistake! I cannot believe this, but they actually had a loud party start at 4 AM on Sunday that did not end until after midnight. Kept getting told that it would end soon, but it did not. Even changed rooms to a lower floor since the party was at the rooftop pool but the walls were still vibrating. I know for a fact that at least 20 different people complained yet management did nothing about it! I cannot blame the desk people as they were unable to stop it and the GM refused to talk to me or others about the issue on the phone. Never again!

I recently travelled to Panama with some friends and we stayed at the Hampton by Hilton. The hotel is in the middle of the financial district and has many shops and restaurants within a 500m radius from the hotel. The Metro station is only a few minutes walk from the hotel as well. The lobby and restaurant areas are clean and well maintained. The staff was very friendly and resolved any issues we reported quickly. Check-in and checkout were very easy. The free breakfast was eggs with some other protein each day and something local made of corn. There was also cereal, juice and a selection of teas. The only fruit we saw for breakfast during our one-week stay was bananas. If you like a variety fruit for breakfast, you should probably visit the 24 hour convenience store within the 500 mile radius around the hotel to pick up fruit as needed. There was a mini fridge in the room so we could store our food during our stay. The hotel also has a microwave which they will let you use if you ask or heat up your food for you. The major issue with the hotel has to do with how the property is maintained. There was mold in the shower and cracking plaster on the walls in our room. Our door also had no security latch behind it, but this was fixed a few hours after we reported it. The carpet in the hallway had a smell as if it was getting wet and they were trying to cover the wet carpet smell with some kind of air freshener. Altogether, this made us hold our breath each time we got off the elevator until we reached our room. The pool and gym are only opened from 9am but some of the gym equipment was “out of order” and the pool needed cleaning as well. The room itself was quite large and smelled clean but we found hair in the bed and bathroom when we arrived. We also had to keep asking for towels and toilet paper during our stay. It looks like they pick up the towels in the morning and bring them back in the evening after washing. The hotel doesn’t issue wash cloths. The view from the room was nice though. If I visit Panama City again I would probably try a different hotel or an AirBnB. Hampton by Hilton just needs a little renovation to become a top choice hotel in Panama City.
