We recently visited Nepal with a G Adventure Tour and part of the tour included a home stay in the village of Panauti. The Panauti Homestay is an all women empowerment company and supports the local village. We stayed with Anita and her family and they were very welcoming. They would answer any questions we had about the village, Nepal, food, and culture. They would be accommodating for anything we needed and we even learned how to prepare traditional Nepalis Momos. The food was delicious, we felt comfortable in their home, and she showed us her large and beautiful vegetable garden. We even spent an evening learning traditional dances. If you want to immerse yourself into a true cultural experience book with Panauti Homestay when in Nepal.

We visited Kathmandu Valley for 10 days, when we ended up at Mina's House. It goes without saying that the house was far from our European standard, but we immediately felt it was the best place in Nepal. Everything was clean and in the rooms there were beautiful pillows. We loved everything, starting from homemade food: Mina is an excellent cook, she refilled our plates many times. We loved SEL, a typical sweet fried dough. Their nice aunty made it for us. We had a special "tour guide", Mina's daughter. She is a very smart girl, speaking a brilliant English with a good knowledge of local traditions. It's a very kind family and it was a very unique experience. Beyond this, Panauti home-stay is a group of welcoming host, we had a party and danced together. Famille très accueillante et bienveillante. Les chambres sont spacieuses et au calme. excellent petit déjeuner. Hotel situé au milieu des rizières et accès à pied au centre ville . Les hôtes sont très bienveillants. Belle expérience et belle rencontre.
