Atlantica Golden Beach Hotel - Adults Only

My experience was disappointing. BREAKFASTS. Fried eggs always cold and had a dead fish eye appearance due to the amount of time left standing. The Bacon was tasteless and cold. Other options available however if you like a cooked breakfast, I hope it works out for you.   EVENING MEALS Plenty of choice and generally good but repetitive.   ENTERTAINMENT. Some acts were on stage for 2 hours with 15 min breaks. I found this too long and difficult to cope with. On the whole it was very poor. Only 30 guests in the room and very repetitive night after night. Some acts walked in at the last minute only to find the equipment wouldn’t work. This resulted in people leaving. Very unprofessional and gave the impression of why should I care if the management don’t ! Plenty sunbeds, the staff are excellent throughout the hotel, rooms very dated but clean. The hotel badly needs a refurbishment throughout, some of the seating is very uncomfortable especially in the entertainment room.

From the moment we arrived until we left, we were made to feel welcome. I have never been to a hotel where the staff are always happy, smiling and friendly. Nothing was too much trouble, because of this, the guests were happy and everyone was friendly and fun to be with. I cannot recommend this hotel enough, and I can't wait to return.

I have nothing but good to say about this holiday, I have read in reviews that you shouldn’t come to this hotel unless 35+, me and my boyfriend came here (both 18) in July, yes there wasn’t any younger couples. However for us it was a perfect holiday, so chilled out very relaxed, pool is lovely and a really nice temperature. Staff are so friendly and kind, specifically the man working the pool bar most days/nights, he always put a smile on our faces. The hotel have photographers who come in who are also very lovely and helpful, We paid for 2 photos and gave a little tip and they even emailed us over the rest !!! I am a fussy eater myself yet there was always something here for me which is rare to find, especially in an all inclusive. Hotel staff are very friendly and helpful, we paid for extended check out which i highly recommend for a later flight, is a little bit pricey but nothing unexpected. The hotel shop is very fairly priced and staff lovely too! Will 100% return to this hotel. We had booked a standard room, however it was like a boutique it was so lovely jet bath, lovely big bed, air con was perfect, the duvet was a cooling blanket which was definitely needed in July for Cyprus heat . Please ignore the comments that it is not for younger couples, if you just want a chill holiday this is a perfect destination to do so. At the end of our stay when waiting for pick up to airport. What i can assume to be a big manager approached us and was happy to see a younger couple, and asked us our opinion.

We had a very nice stay, our first time in Cyprus but not the last. Our flight was very late and we arrived after midnight. The gentleman on reception, was a very nice man. We recieved a small food bag, a glass of wine, detailed instructions on how to find our room, and cases taken up. Also because we arrived late the gentleman said we could checkout later at no extra cost on our last day. Michael has excellent customer service. Our room was a twin with a side sea view and overlooking quite a busy road. It could sometimes be a bit loud with traffic, but we didn't let this upset us too much. If I book again, I definitely want a double bed and over looking the pool. The room itself was very clean. Can I add the domestic staff work incredibly hard and have very high standards. The pool was chilly, but we loved getting in it, and once in, it was great, the pool bar was brilliant and the staff were very attentive. We loved the bar lounge and a member of staff stood out for us, Nicolette was amazing! What a credit to the hotel. We loved the cats, especially the kittens. Food was very good, we went to both A la Carte restaurants but thought the Olive and Thyme was superior to the one at the beach. Staff were brilliant. I would have given a 5 star review but a couple of things just took the shine off for us. I became very unwell on the Wednesday, my husband informed reception. But we didn't hear anything. Luckily I am medically trained and knew with a stomach bug to stay away for 48hrs. I stayed in our room, on the Thursday I felt awful and thought I might need a Doctor but by Thursday night, thank God, I felt much better. I saw the Tui rep who quickly told us it was definitely a stomach bug going round and we should inform the hotel. My husband said well I have, but we did again. We spoke to other guests who had also had the bug and they were told to stay in room and got room service, something that wasn't offered to us. I was gutted we lost 2 days but luckily I had a lovely day on the Saturday. Lastly the one thing that slightly annoyed me was the sunbeds by the pool were all taken by 8am. To get a decent position you need to nab one at 7am, I watched in amusement as I saw older Clientele nab the best beds! This hotel offers peace and relaxation so if you expect a livelier scene this is not the place for you. The staff are some of the best I've experienced and they are super in all departments. Oh! And the wee pebbly beach is cute but definitely bring beach shoes for swimming! Cyprus you are beautiful

We travelled with our two adult children during Easter. Weather wise we had a dodgy first day but then clear blue skies and temperatures in the low to mid 20s for the rest of the week. Great weather for sightseeing and warm enough to sunbathe and snorkel. We had partial sea view rooms which to be honest I would have described as having sea views. The rooms themselves are a bit dated ie: no bedside sockets or charging points and a shower above the bath. These were minor issues really as the rooms were immaculate with the rooms being cleaned and the towels changed on a daily basis. We all commented that the hotel, grounds and beach looked so much better in the flesh than it did online. I know it’s been said previously but the staff really can’t do enough for you, whether it’s the bar staff, receptionist or waiters in the restaurant they were always happy and helpful. We thought the food in the buffet restaurant was excellent, always a good choice and good quality. The two a la carte restaurants were the best we’ve ever experienced at an all inclusive. They were so good that I forgot I didn’t have to pay! The drinks were a good quality, nice beer and good cocktails. The two ladies in the patio bar work their socks off to make sure you’re happy and get to know what you want and your room numbers incredibly quickly. Overall we had a great time and I’d be very surprised if we don’t visit this hotel again. The only things that stop me giving it 5 out of 5 is that the rooms are a bit dated, the beach area is a bit small and the gym could do with some updated equipment but this is a very good 4* hotel.
