Absolutely awful!!! Never ever been to such a disgusting, dirty, old hotel. A trip to 1983. Crew was awful as well. Bring your own kosher food and go to a normal place. Be aware that if you take a piece of watermelon out with you - you'de be yelled at by the crew.

After a weeklong family holiday at the Blue Lagoon Kosher Hotel in Paphos, Cyprus, we can confidently say it exceeded expectations despite some minor frustrations. If you are seeking a Kosher, family friendly destination with plenty to offer both adults and children, it is an excellent choice. What Stands Out Exceptional Food Quality Meals at Blue Lagoon were consistently fresh, varied, and satisfying. Even with a range of dietary preferences across our group, there was always something for everyone. The standout dish was the sea bass, quite possibly the best we have ever had, delicately cooked and perfectly seasoned. Shabbat meals especially felt festive and abundant. Spotless Rooms and Public Spaces Housekeeping impressed us. Rooms were cleaned thoroughly every day, with fresh linen and towels consistently provided. The common areas, including the pools and lobby, maintained a high standard of cleanliness. Ideal for Families The hotel grounds include both indoor and outdoor pools, and the adjacent promenade offers beautiful walks with children or strollers. There was never a shortage of things to do nearby, making it a reliable pick for families looking for a relaxed yet active holiday. Logistics Made Simple Airport transfers were complimentary and Wi Fi was strong throughout the hotel. However, the shuttle service did not provide a car seat despite it being specifically requested during booking. Travellers with young children should take note. What Could Be Better Customer Service Gaps While senior staff were professional and attentive, general service was inconsistent. Interactions with some hotel employees suggested a need for improved customer service training. It is possible that local cultural differences in service expectations played a role, but compared to global hospitality standards, there is room for improvement. Communication and Special Requests Although most needs were met promptly, special requests like the car seat were overlooked. Travellers relying on specific amenities for children should double confirm all arrangements before arrival. Location and Atmosphere The hotel is ideally located for those who enjoy combining beach relaxation with a bit of exploration. The promenade is perfect for walking, running, or simply enjoying the sea breeze. The atmosphere throughout the property was relaxed and warm, ideal for groups and multigenerational families. Final Verdict Despite a few service inconsistencies, the Blue Lagoon Kosher Hotel offers excellent value, especially for Kosher observant families seeking a reliable and enjoyable beach holiday. With its superb location, outstanding food, family friendly facilities, and thoughtful amenities, it is a destination we would happily recommend with just a little extra preparation for specific needs.

A very expensive hotel and the value is very low Bad food, not fresh Coffee and cake in the lounge - they put some dry cakes that had insects. Old-fashioned rooms, noisy air conditioner. The attitude and service of the maids was very bad and unpleasant. In addition to everything, next to the hotel there is a construction site that makes a lot of noise starting at 7 in the morning!

We came in December, during the off-season. The hotel was very inexpensive (315 Euro for 3 nights) and not crowded. Our room was huge - a full kitchen with appliances and a washing machine, dining table, couch (not a comfortable one), amazing balcony, a nice bedroom and two full bathrooms. The kosher food was delicious and plentiful. We got fresh omelets in the morning from Chef Yaakov and made sandwiches for later. Dinner was 35 Euro per person and was a huge buffet with at least 3 proteins, sides and a salad bar. There was even a bowl of fruit and a yummy cake and donuts (for Chanuka). Small random grievances - there is a pipe in the shower that gets scalding hot when the shower is on; don't touch it or you'll burn yourself! I didn't find the couch or the bed especially comfortable, though I did appreciate the extra pillows. Neither of the bathroom doors have locks on them. Despite the festive Christmas display that the Capital Coast Hotel (host hotel) put out, the lobby has a very tired look. Fun bonus: during one of our dinners in the kosher dining room, there was a group of interactive dancers who put on a fun show. I recommend this hotel! I hope to return soon.

Hotel room and staff lovely BUT the sub let kosher section in the basement was below average. In 7 days they only once put out cut up fruit. No humus at all til the Israelis arrived 5 days later. The chef / dining room REFUSED to make anything for my daughter who is gluten free. On Shavuot night all she could eat was sliced mozzarella and chips. She’s not super sensitive I explained and it was lucky I took GF bread, cake, pasta, saucepan and sieve. The chef even refused to make plain rice or potato. I would NOT ADVISE anybody with a food intolerance to go here as they are completely unaccommodating and the quality of the rest of the food depends very much on how many people are booked in to stay.
