Avanti Hotel

Hotel is spotless and staff are amazing really helpful chatty and nothing to much trouble.Special mention to Zoe and Emma on reception. The hotel room we were on 5th floor was a great size bed comfy apart from the pillow but that was me. Could be more lighting in the bathroom and a extractor fan as gets very steamy etc Plenty of storage space Breakfast was great bit of everything and fresh omelette if you wanted it.Also the staff there were lovely. The pool was cold but I'm sure in summer would be more appealing.we did go in a couple of times on the really hot days .Did notice the floor very slippy and in places black bits floating which could of been mould or something one of those machines that clean all around would be good to solve it.didnt stop people going in and we're still here so all good The area around the pool again clean and tidy bar chap pleasant. Only thing that we were surprised at was the hotel was card only and on arrival thank goodness we had one. Just outside is a bus stop to different places £2 one way or a day ticket £6.50 as many buses as you like (drivers are grumpy though and won't stop if you don't press the button even at the harbour) The village next door more for children not much for under 14 here.Entertainment team tries their hardest to get us moving but we didn't want any of that but if you do looked like fun.Great location for restaurant and the walk to harbour

Another fabulous holiday spent at the Avanti Hotel. Staff are so friendly and helpful - rooms & facilities are spotless, beds are as comfy as home & new pads on the sun loungers have made sunning by the pool so much more enjoyable. Thank you. Just returned from a week at this hotel which we enjoyed very much. The hotel is a good 1500km from the main harbour and paphos but there are a few lovely restaurants and bars close by which we used on a couple of evenings for dinner. The hotel and our room were very clean and the staff were friendly and helpful and the breakfast has pretty much everything you need. We frequently used the bar of an evening which was very quiet in general ( maybe early in the season?) and the entertainment was a little disappointing ( we enjoyed the solo singer on one occasion) but a lot of older people seemed to either go out or to bed early? And not much else was going on ? It seems the hotel used to do evening food and has a restaurant but it wasn’t open. ( maybe because of the restaurant choice outside made it unprofitable) The pool area is lovely but same old problems with beds being hogged all day and towels being left on beds for hours and no one monitors it?. We still enjoyed it and made our own plans outside with walks into the town along the sea promenade or the bus stop just outside the front of hotel ( get a day ticket for €6 or €2 each way). In general it’s a good clean 4* with some nice areas ( table tennis/ gym/ small basic games area,pool and breakfast area. ) Maybe Could do with some better adult evening entertainment.( ie Dance/ disco/ live music) Thank you to all the breakfast/ bar/ cleaning and reception staff who were all very nice.

This hotel used to be fab .now it's lost it's sparkle kids do what they like life guard let's them run around jumping in pool it's dangerous. while he just going on his phone bearly looking up . Cups don't get cleared away around the pool. Night time entertainment was rubbish it's just lost something . It's absolutely boring entertainment entertainment team seem nervous and doing anything. It's a shame

We are sadly leaving this amazing place this evening. The staff cannot do enough for you . We arrived after 11pm Saturday and were greeted with fresh juice and a speedy check in. Our rooms had an adjoining door, which meant our family of 5 were not split up. Rooms were spotlessly clean and cleaned every day with complimentary hand soap, shampoo and shower gel replenished daily. Complimentary tea and coffee and a fridge to keep water or wine cold. The bar is open until 1am so we had drinks and snack after check in and bought water for the room. Lovely big pool and you can change pool towels as needed. Had a relaxing massage with my husband one day, played table tennis, archery and aqua aerobics. Entertainment team work hard, a special mention to Beca. The Avanti village is 5 minutes walk and aimed at younger families but you can use their facilities and charge to your room. Buffet breakfast extensive and plentiful and served until 10am, so no early start needed. Pool bar serves food until 4.30 and had e good selection to feed everone. Ficados garden restaurant accross the road at back of hotel also recommended. Taxi to old town cost 14euro from hotel for 5. Bus to water park 2 euros adults and 1 euros kids. We would really recommend a visit. 20 min walk or 10 min bus to harbour. Lots of shops and restaurants to choose from. Visit to the Archaeological Park was 4.50 euros each. We have loved our stay here and would definitely come back.

Just back this morning after another 2 weeks at Avanti hotel we have been going here 10 years now twice a year. Fantastic staff big thanks to Zoe and the girls what a great team. Then Sylvia at hotel bar Fantastic at her job you should be so proud of your staff also the young girl who was training she was doing a great job. It was great to see Alex back on the day we left. What a wonderful young lad. A big thanks to Effie who cleaned our room wonder woman. And never forgetting Renata at Breakfast always a great welcome in the morning a fantastic person and asset to the hotel. And Maria the cook at pool bar always cheerful and great meals cooked. And Ash and the entertainment team they girls know how to put on a show thanks everyone for all the hard work you put in see you again in October xx lots love Jean, Andy
