Mayfair Hotel recensioner

Fantastisk upplevelse! Detta var vår första vistelse, lite svårt att hitta platsen. Men personalen i receptionen var mycket vänlig, mottagningen var mycket trevlig och väl inredd! Vi var imponerade av hotellets underhållning eftersom det var något som hände varje dag.

Rummet var inte särskilt välkomnande, semesterort, frukosten enkel men bra.

Rummet var mycket större än förväntat. Frukosten var mycket rik. Läget är mycket bekvämt. Det är mycket nära Paphos Archaeological Park. Priset är mycket överkomligt. Jag kommer att välja att bo här igen nästa gång.

Det är kostnadseffektivt men kräver bil för att komma dit.Det finns många inomhus- och utomhuspooler, lämpliga för familjer och laganda att bygga! Många lag bor på detta hotell och frukosten är rik! Det är synd att bastun inte är öppen!

Le personnel (réception, restauration, animation..) est accueillant et bienveillant, l’animation était au rendez-vous, hôtel propre, bien entretenu qui propose pas mal de commodités, l’alimentation est saine et variée. Je recommande

房間太小了 淋浴房水壓不大夠，環境不錯 位置也不錯，早餐選擇比較多，游泳池有點小。總體而言，性價比比較一般

It is very difficult to write a review for this hotel, as there  are some aspects which were very good, but some, such as the rooms, were very bad. Those with a pool view room (who paid extra) may have experienced better feelings, but the hotel is in what staff describe as a 'residential' area. The surrounding area is not aesethically pleasing and is quite a mess to overlook. There is a shopping mall and supermarket nearby if you like that sort of thing close to hand. It was for us, with toddler and pram, about a 30-40 minute walk to the harbour area or Venus Beach to see the sunset. When we arrived, the room which we were given was pretty horrendous. It was shabby, with exposed wires and a terrible view from the balcony of a construction site. This was definitely not a room of a four star hotel. We highlighted it to the staff, as we heard other people do during our stay. They were very accommodating and moved us to a slightly better room to make our holiday more comfortable. We do think the hotel needs to revamp the rooms in this hotel, as they are quite tired and spoil the experience. Some communal areas, such as, stairwells and lifts have also been around a long time as well. They had courtesy rooms by the pool to shower and change on your last day. We paid to extend our room, but it was not as we thought and we had to move to a completely different area of the hotel, which wasn't convenient and caused extra stress to pack up and go back and forth. We had paid 16 euros for the safe and couldn't transfer that facility to the other room for valuables, which was quite disappointing. There is no room makeup from housekeeping staff on Sundays which we found quite surprising. On the plus side, the pools were great! A lot of reviewers complained about not being able to get a sunbed, but we think that's only a problem in the main pool and if you want direct sunshine to sunbathe. There is another large pool next to the fantastic kids splash zone and we were always able to get a bed there in the shadier part without getting up early. The kids splash zone was really fun! Our little girl loved it. There is also a tiny circular pool which she liked, and a medium pool, so plenty of places to swim without worrying about depth.  The entertainment team, were super friendly and ran yoga/ stretching everyday, plus pool activities, just not on their weekly scheduled day off. The evening kids disco and entertainment was at a decent time, small scale, but varied, including bingo, mini disco, bird show, fire breathing etc. There was also t-shirt painting, face painting and henna tattoos at additional cost. The entertainment team were really identifiable in bright t-shirts to ask questions and did not mind at all. The food and restaurant area at this hotel was very good with variety for all manner of cuisines. It was buffet style but the themed nights helped to keep things interesting in this all inclusive environment and the food that was served was delicious. T

We enjoyed a great week in the Mayfair hotel. We found the rooms to be spacious and adequately furnished and most importantly clean. Staff were friendly and helpful - some of the best reception staff we have encountered. The food (AI buffet) was really of a good standard with plenty of choice. The drinks were just ok - wine and beer were fine, spirits not so much. The entertainment staff were excellent, especially Lizzy who went over and above to make our stay complete and full of fun activities - my son (and I) will miss her activities and her banter!

We was the only family coming off the coach when we arrived, my wife panicked as she thought it wasn't a good sign. We arrived straight into reception around 11pm and we was greated by the receptionist with 4 brown paper bags with a sandwich, cake, fruit and a bottle of water which I thought was a nice gesture. The room was very clean, only downside we had was the beds in the main bedroom are nice and soft mattresses but the 2 singles in living room are hard mattresses. The food is great. We've done 5 star hotels and this probably has more variety as each night is a different theme. The entertainment staff are brilliant. I became very friendly and had a good laugh with Noah and Cristina the "bingo lady" as my daughter called her was also brilliant. My Daughter got up and did Matilda Naughty on the karaoke night and she came over to the table compliment her as they thought she was really good which put a big smile on her face. The pools are very cold but are ok once you're in. If you want a decent sun lounger, you need to find one at 6am. Some people was going down at 5.30am thinking they can beat others to it, but the staff are circling before 6am removing towels and folding them and putting on a table nearby. Only issue I would say but it might be because we've done a lot of 5 star hotels is theres not any groundsmen here keeping up with the cleaning and gardens but that might be more apparent in the summer time as this is towards the end of season. The lifeguards keep circling cleaning up after others that are leaving their crap which they really shouldn't be doing, there's plenty of bins and lazy people. The young lad on the pool bar I think was called Rezi is brilliant, he's only 18 but he's really easy to talk to (probably even in the 5 languages he can speak) and knows his way around the bar and cocktails. Tbf all the staff have been very friendly and helpful. It's our last day today after 7 nights and I wish we booked longer. The full holiday has been great from start to finish. We would definitely book here again if we returned to paphos in the future. Last drink at reception whilst I write this, YAMAS

Fabulous hotel with excellent staff, in particular Cristina from the entertainment staff was fabulous with all ages and had so much energy, my daughters especially loved that she came to play UNO with them! Food has been excellent with a great selection every night and all to a really high standard. Rooms are a great size and a lovely pool view. Great location just across from the shopping mall and only a short walk away from the harbour area but great bus links also. Would absolutely return here!

had a wonderful time food was amazing staff very helpful entertainment team where very good very clean hotel would definitely come back again to stay 10/10 the rooms are very nice especially the ones which have been renovated clean and very comfortable bar area are good the restaurant which you have to pay for is excellent well recommend

This place is amazing the entertainment staff are friendly and welcoming, the food is lovely and all the staff are willing to help with anything you need. I have had an amazing birthday here with the Mayfair family and we are coming back for a family holiday next year xx

Just back from a week away, first time in cyprus for us, it didn't disappoint, hotel was lovely and was all the staff, so friendly and helpful, first of I have to mention that the double bed wasn't two singles pushed together, this was a proper supper king sized bed and one of the most comfortable we have ever encountered in all our travels, the food was absolutely amazing, we normally find ourselves eating out a few times but not once, there is plenty to do and see here just ask the lovely reception staff for a local map and recommendations and they won't put you wrong, we will definitely be back to cyprus and would definitely go back to this hotel, will definitely recommend x
