Constantinou Bros Asimina Suites Hotel

Over the years we have stayed in many hotels, stayed on cruise lines, but this hotel has been the best ever holiday we've ever had. We booked the hotel to celebrate our Ruby Wedding Anniversary. And what a celebration we had. On the day of our anniversary we had a table booked at the seafront a la cart resterauant. The food is delicious and of a high standard. The steaks available all cooked individually to how you like your steak. They surprised us with a lovley anniversary cake. The whole hotel is just delightful. Nothing is too much trouble, and they really can't do enough for you. The young girls in the bars are fantastic, special mention to Shana, Alexander, and Sema, they went above and beyond to make our stay special. Also George the bar manager and his beautiful smoothies daily. Spiros in the buffet resterauant was there on hand to please and make you feel special. And that's how our fantastic holiday has been from start to finish, we've been made to feel special and valued. 2 days before we wete due to leave, there was a knock on our suite door. Lady with a bottle of champagne on ice for us to drink. The lady who cleaned our room, 417 and im truly sorry can't remember her name was outstanding. Her high standards of cleaning and minor details was phenomenal. Annmariea on reception, again just couldn't do enough for us. ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC SERVICE AND HOTEL, SIMPLY THE BEST.

I was lucky enough to sample this hotel for 4 nights during my recent trip to Paphos and I honestly cannot wait to return. This hotel is definitely very me, and it ticks my boxes for luxurious and elegant. With gorgeous food (I say this having sampled various eateries around Paphos) and exceptional customer service to boot. The room (210) was extremely spacious and comfortable with gorgeous views over both the pool and sea. The sunbeds are super sturdy and comfortable as well, and the pool towels are nice and large, which is rare with most hotels. As a fuller figured female, I felt very catered for. The harbour area, with plenty of shops and restaurants is a nice 30 minute stroll from the hotel along a paved beachside foot path. I loved swimming in the ocean here. It was a bit cold at this time of year, but not unbearably so. The sunshine was glorious and the weather around 25°C. The jetty makes it easy to get in, and it's nice and deep enough that your feet don't even touch the ground. With the breakaway barriers in place, you feel secure and safe in the sea. I could have stayed in there for hours. Thank you Constantinou Bros for creating such an amazing and memorable hotel. I've stayed in a lot, all over the world and this one is right up there as being one of the best so far!

My partner and I have just returned from the fabulous Ashmia Suites in Paphos! It is our second visit and both times have been incredible. It is a beachfront adults only hotel which is nice for a break away from the kids! :-) The whole hotel has a pleasant design and is absolutely spotless. The pool is beautiful and you can hire a cabana on the beach for a very reasonable rate. The food in the main restaurant is buffet style and absolutely delicious - always- and the beachfront restaurant is stunning and idyllic and we had the most delicious scallops dish that we have ever tasted, so much so, that we went back twice to have it! We did venture out into to Paphos for a meal at a very nice restaurant but neither the food nor the service measured up to our hotel. The most incredible thing about this hotel are the people that work there. As soon as we arrived the lovely Miruna welcomed us back as did many other staff that we had met last year. I’m sorry for not remembering names but in addition to Miruna, the lovely chef who cooks the most amazing, eggs, omelettes, pancakes etc for breakfast every morning, the head waiter who was always very attentive and pleasant as were all the fabulous restaurant staff , receptionists, shop staff and pool/beach staff. We were struck by how many staff were still there from last year and at the Managers cocktail welcome event, he explained that some had been there from between 10 and 35 years! It’s no surprise as everyone seems happy in their work. Thank you all for making our visit so special and relaxing and also to Nicky Cullen at Travel Counsellor for introducing us to this wonderful hotel and booking both our holidays here! We don’t tend to be people that revisit places twice as we like to broaden our horizons but this place is too good to miss and we hope to return again next year! My family and I arrived at Asimina Suites with high expectations and for the most, we certainly weren’t disappointed. Upon arrival we were greeted warmly with a welcome drink and canapés, and given an abundance of information as my daughter was keen to embrace some excursions. During our welcome meeting I realised I’d left some personal belongings in the taxi and staff were quick to support and make contact with the taxi company, and for a small fee my belongings were promptly returned which was a great relief. Throughout our stay staff were friendly and attentive and couldn’t do enough for us. As we had a room on the 1st floor we would have to pass by the lobby to go to the pool or the restaurants: Anne-Marie on reception had such a sunny disposition and was always ready to great us and share conversation, which was a wonderfully positive way to start the day. The restaurant & waiting staff were excellent and Tereza was a wonderful host. Joanna, Sanjaya, Nilam were efficient and friendly, as was Mahmoud (egg man). I’m unable to recall his name, but the gentleman who took drinks orders around the pool each day was also a wonderful addition to Asimina staff. Unfortunately, our stay was somewhat soured by the incredibly rude and unfriendly receptionist, whose name I didn’t catch (older lady, occasionally wore dark rimmed glasses). The first communication we had was when I requested to switch an evening meal to lunch and although she obliged, she seemed pained to do so. This lady would not acknowledge our presence or greet us when we passed, and would only give the briefest of responses when trying to engage with her by saying ‘good morning’ or similar. Upon returning from an excursion one afternoon, without so much as ‘hello’ she pointedly leaned over the desk to stare at my footwear - having been to a water park I was wearing sliders. I wasn’t aware this would be an issue and had seen numerous other guests wearing these during the day. Although I initially gave this woman the benefit of the doubt and accepted she may be having a bad day (as happens to us all) her obvious dislike was apparent and her attitude continued throughout my stay, which to be frank, made me feel rather uncomfortable. Having the pleasure of staying in this hotel comes at a premium, but I completely understand why many guests choose to return, year after year. Unfortunately, I’m not so sure I will be one of them as I am not willing to spend thousands more pounds for a member of staff to make me feel the way this lady did.

We’ve been fortunate to stay at some wonderful hotels around the world, but sadly in Europe our experiences haven’t been particularly memorable. Asimina Suites has delivered in terms of standard and service from the moment we arrived. We are 5 days into our 11 night stay and without exception, every member of the Asimina team has been faultless in their service. Even at some of the best hotels you’ll get individual staff members that let the side down, but not here. Superb in every area of the hotel! We are in Suites 408 and 404, both are lovely and maintained beautifully each day by housekeeping. You can be assured that the brochure / website descriptions are accurate. We’ve eaten at all the restaurants and they are very good, including the buffet. The management, waiting staff and chefs are so attentive at all mealtimes. Our favourite is Kymata on the seafront, but we’ve enjoyed all meals. The hotel grounds are lovely and peaceful. We’ve spent each day on the beach with use of one of the cabanas. The beach / pool staff do an amazing job and must cover huge distances each day taking orders and delivering drinks. The hotel is full, but it doesn’t feel like it is. I haven’t seen any mad rush for the sunbeds, with guests chilling over their breakfast. At all times of the day I’ve seen spare beds. It seems many guests have visited multiple times and it’s easy to see why. This is a hotel we will definitely return to.

We have just returned from a 7 night stay at Asimina Suites with our 16 year old son, after a very last minute decision and booking with Jet2. Overall summary: A lovely 5 star hotel with amazing staff, great food, wine and cocktails. We stayed all inclusive in their Executive One Bedroom suite with Garden View and Private Pool. We arrived very early (around 02:00) on Saturday morning, due to a delay leaving Birmingham. The gentleman on reception warmly welcomed us and said to return after breakfast in the morning, no rush, for a proper introduction. On arrival at our room we had been left 3 plates of cold meat, salad and cheeses because we missed dinner, which was a lovely thought. There was also a bottle of Red wine and plenty of water. Room: We had a 'Garden' view suite (No. 118) which looked out over a small garden and hedge. As this was last minute there wasn't the option for a sea view. Our room was spacious, as the pictures on here depict, split between the main bedroom and lounge area, which had a lovely Sofa bed set-up for our son. Outside on the decking I was quite surprised by the size of the pool off the lounge area. Perfectly ok for a few small lengths and great for a mid-late afternoon relax before getting ready and heading out for pre-dinner drinks. The facilities in the room were good with a small mini-bar (all free for the first use), robes, slippers etc as you'd most likely expect from a 5*. Maybe user error but I was never able to get the rain shower temperature right for very long, it was either too hot or too cold and not at all powerful. On hindsight I think there may have been an issue with the system somewhere. The hand-held shower attachment worked very well and in contrast was very powerful. Just a shame there wasn't a holder on the wall at a height which would allow the use of this as an alternative, rather than having to hold the shower attachment. I did mention this to the reception, who were very helpful, but as it was only 1 day before we left I didn't pursue with the maintenance team and we continued to use the hand-held attachment. For me personally, now we have been, I wouldn't book another Suite with a Garden view. The room deck was in the shade a lot of the day (which may be a benefit for some) and there was nothing to look at, except a hedge, again some will see this as a benefit for privacy. See some pictures attached. That said, it was still a lovely room. The sea facing suites, well at least some, have steps from their deck down to the pool and restaurant area and have the benefit of pool waiter service to the room. If you have one of these room you don't really need to sit by the pool, if you don't want too. You also get the use of a Cabana on the beach. We booked one for 3 days and only used it for a few hours in the end as it was better around the pool. Restaurants: In essence there are 2 restaurants. The Estia for breakfast and buffet dinner and Kymata, near the beach.
