Fodele Beach Water Park Resort

We loved it here, the room was amasing and when we first entered (at 01.30am) we were blown away. The reception staff and porters were very welcoming, as were all the staff though out the resort. Big praise to the staff in the restaurants, and the food was a true highlight each day. The hotel itself was beautiful with the setting with the mountains and the sea was always a view I was happy to see each day. Only downside is the resort seems to be a bit split in if it wants to be a family resort or a high end hotel, the decor the staff and the whole look shouts 5 star but it's let down abit by the kids at the main pool, it would probably be better suited to a family pool and an adults pool, or at least a quiet curfew for the early evening around the pool. However we loved the stay here and would love to return again.

Everything is taken care of at this hotel, high standard of food and drinks, good selection of pools for the day time, including flumes. Everywhere was always extremely clean and tidy. Good entertainment in the evenings.

We’ve just returned from a wonderful week at Fodele Beach Hotel & Waterpark, and we’re already dreaming of going back! From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel welcome. Check-in was smooth, and we were given all the details we needed, including access to the hotel app and WiFi. Our double room with a sea view was spacious, modern, and spotless. It included a single bed for our 3-year-old, which was perfect. The view was absolutely stunning, and housekeeping kept everything immaculate with daily cleaning and fresh towels. The minibar offered a 2L bottle of water, and tea and coffee were provided. We arrived around 2:30 PM and headed straight to the pool. We found two sunbeds and jumped in! The pool area was always clean and well-maintained. Just a tip: the best loungers tend to be claimed before 10 AM. The pool bar staff worked hard to keep queues short, though an extra pair of hands during peak times would help. The main buffet restaurant was excellent—clean, welcoming, and full of fresh, hot food. A special shout-out to Anastasia, who greeted everyone with the warmest smile and even got hugs from our toddler! The live cooking stations were a great touch, and breakfast offered plenty of variety. While the bacon and sausages might not suit every British taste, there were loads of other options. We tried all three à la carte restaurants (bookable via the app or reception), and they were all great. Our personal ranking: Elia (Greek cuisine) – absolutely delicious Italian Restaurant – lovely atmosphere and food Frankie’s Beach Bar – casual and tasty All the bars were clean and well-run, though occasionally understaffed. George deserves a special mention—he made every visit fun and personal, even entertaining the kids with straw helicopters. Our little one shouted “Hi George!” every time he passed. The Pink Wave animation team were fantastic, keeping guests entertained all day and into the evening. Huge thanks to Ilaria, who was brilliant with the kids, and Seba, who managed the lively adult water polo sessions with good humour. Be warned: water polo gets competitive—but it’s all in good spirits! Evening entertainment was consistently enjoyable. We were lucky to be there for the Cretan Gentri event, which featured local food, wine, and music from a traditional band—a real highlight. The on-site spa is well worth a visit. My wife and I had relaxing Cretan massages. They do offer products afterward, but that’s standard for most spas. All in all, this was a fantastic holiday for our family. We felt welcomed, relaxed, and thoroughly entertained. We can’t wait to return! Thank you, Fod Waterpark, for an unforgettable week!

We choosed Fodele from the pictures on the internet, how else can we do that? We were very excited about the hotel. The lobby, the restaurants all common spaces look very good, they are clean all the time. But our room had nothing to do with what we saw when making the booking. We took the maisonette, it was the best choice to stay togheter with our two boys. It was not even close to the 60 square meters and the furniture was old. The window from the room on the groundfloor does not leave the sun to enter beacuse it is covered by landscape. Another minus star is for the food. We have traveled in Greece for about 20 years, but we had never experience the lack of sea fruits and fish like here. It was very dissapointing for a five star hotel. The stuff is very nice, but you don't pay for that. You pay to have some quality time, the vacantions are supposed to be something to remember.

Nice resort with nice personal with perfect food, clean beach. Only one thing which we were not satisfied was extra bed... except this thing was everything almost perfect and we enjoyed nice time there.
