Cosmopolitan Hotel & Spa

The room is great , with great toilet and shower, the bed is comfortable. The restoraunt is with great view at the pool, abd the food is various and tasty. The spa is small but perfect, with pool and 2 sauna. The staff are kind and amazing. Parking always available, and the beach is 100m away.

My name is Maria Zabunova and in August 2023 I was a guest in this wonderful hotel for the fifth time. Every time we are satisfied, and this year even more so with the kind attitude towards the guests, the cleanliness (every day the rooms are cleaned) and the very tasty food. The pool is clean. There is also live music that does not disturb the guests of the hotel. The beach is very close. An ideal place for a family vacation

Simply put - a fantastic holiday experience! The hotel is very clean, the staff is amazing - always polite and smiling, ready to help when needed. I loved the back yard with the pool and with lots of room for my child to play. The food is delicious - we had a buffet breakfast and buffet dinner - always fresh, with a variety of foods to choose from. Also, I loved that the hotel is not in the city centre but on the outskirts (~1.5km away) which made my vacation an actual relaxing holiday. The beach is also quite close (~200m away).

We were really pleased with our week' s stay at Hotel Cosmopolitan. Despite arriving past midnight, we were met with a warm and genuine welcome and the staff could not have been more friendly or helpful throughout our stay. We were pleased to have found a hotel ( and area) where Greeks themselves holiday- in fact I think we were the only British couple at the hotel at the time. The hotel has a lovely design to it , it stands out as being something special in the area and lives up to its pictures, we enjoyed eating on the balcony each morning and evening. The hotel is kept very clean, the pool was never crowded, the food was good and plentiful. The hotel is set back from the sandy beach, a 5-10 minute walk away, but we liked that our hotel was in a quieter part of town and the short walk was not a problem for us. The hotel is close to a cross-roads ( which could do with some more clarity on right of way!) but that said, we didn't find it too noisy. The town itself (an 8 min walk away) is nice, lively but not clubby. Tavernas, souvenir shops , bars, hotels- yes, but a family atmosphere. Unfortunately a lot of fur shops too which did not impress us. They definitely need to go. We felt the hotel was good value and we enjoyed our week relaxing and also visiting Thessaloniki ( by train) and going on a trip to Mount Olympus. Our only negative comment was that after 3 days it might be an idea to change the background music CD ..but they did so straight away, so all good. If you want to see a more authentic Greece than the well known ' resorts' I would highly recommend this hotel. The warmth of the staff will always be remembered by us in particular.

Rooms, small but adequate. The cleaning service was terrible, the first days they only mopped and changed the baskets and rugs, the bathroom was dirty, the tables were dirty, they didn't replenish the soap. We didn't have hot water in our room for two days. We were told to stand in the shower and wait for it to work. Appalling behavior at the reception. Not interested.. Today they didn't clean the room at all, they don't have people. So we have smelly bins and sand everywhere. At the reception? Again no interest. Today the water also stopped working completely, we wanted to take a shower, without success. The lady at the reception did not believe that the water was not running and was not interested in solving it. She rolled her eyes at us. We complained to the representative, she called the lady at the reception and told her that the water was not going anywhere. She lied. The other floors had water. This is appalling behavior, don't come here! Never again. Waste of money.

Wir waren vom 11.-25.05.24 dort. Sehr preiswertes Pauschal-Angebot. 2.5 Std. Bustransfer von Thessaloniki war jedoch grenzwertig. Hotel an sich nette Optik/Ambiente & ganz OK, wenn man nicht pingelig ist. Zimmer/Bad mit deutlichen Abnutzungsspuren (kaum Wasserdruck, Duschabtrennung undicht, Duscharmatur völlig verkalkt, mit Vorsicht zu bedienen) Betten ganz OK, aber nur diesen Laken als Decke .... Klima hatte eher Kühlschrankfunktion, viel zu kalt, nicht einstellbar - haben wir abgestellt (Erkältungsgefahr). Schrank sehr klein - keine Kleiderbügel ! Balkon winzig - mit 2 Stühlen/Tisch schon überfüllt - aber Ostseite mit Meerblick (in 500m). Direkt davor eine Wiese mit recht groß geratener, offener Aussen-Gastronomie, die aber zu der Zeit nicht betrieben wurde. Beim Aufzug fahren konnte man in Ruhe eine Zeitung lesen - extrem langsam. Der Pool etwas skurril direkt am Haus, ungreinigt mit viel Grünzeug, arschkalt. Im 1. Stock der nicht sonderlich große "Essbereich" (kein Restaurant in dem Sinne) Allgemein schon lecker uns reichlich, aber alles andere als vielseitig - jeden 2./3.Tag gab es das gleiche in leicht abgewandelter Form. In der 1. Woche war es noch nicht so voll und eher angenehm ruhg. Das änderte sich in 2. Woche schlagartig - 10-30 Kinder toben täglich von früh bis spät abends auf der Wiese. An entspannt auf dem Balkon stizen oder auf der Liege am Pool dösen war nicht mehr möglich. Das Hotel liegt etwas ausserhalb vom Paralia. Für mal eben "in die Stadt"und sonst was (auserhalb) zu erleben/erkunden, ist ein Mietwagen (teuer !) dringend zu empfehlen. Wir haben uns preiswerte Fahrräder organisiert. 4 Sterne ? ... vielleicht in der Landeskategorie. Wenn man hier und da mal genauer hinsieht, hat das Hotel die besseren Tage schon länger hinter sich. Getränke / Snacks an der "Mini-Bar/Kiosk" leider völlig überteuert. Hier mehrfach angesprochene Probleme bei der Reinigung kann ich nur zustimmen. Alles nur oberflächlch "Husch-Husch" - die offentliche Wollmaus bleibt aber liegen. Um auch mal den Aschenbecher auf dem Balkonzu leeren, musste ich täglich hinweisen. Personal ist im großen und ganzen ganz nett - wirkt aber sehr unmotiviert, eher lustlos Fazit: Auch wenn preiswert, für ältere Leute / entpannten Urlaub nicht zu empfehlen.
