Sheva Hotel

I rarely leave reviews but feel I need to foe this hotel. We booked through ******* where reviews were overall positive. We arrived at check-in and the deposit (which was cash only) was double the amount quoted by expedia...100$...we actually had a great stay until we checked out. The front desk checked our room and said it would be 40$ because we took the remote. (Newsflash : we didnt) we never had a remote in the room. We explained this and were willing to let the staff search our bags. The worker said even if she found nothing in our bags, we would still be charged. In the interim, the worker called her manager she then informed us it would be the whole deposit. I asked her multiple times to call the manager back so that I could speak with him and she out-right refused. I even had her sign my deposit slip where I wrote that she would not call the manager back. In addition, she offered to put my bank information INTO HER PHONE (not the computer) in case they find the remote and were able to refund us. Looking on the internet, i see this has happened to other people as well. Although the room was nice and some reviews are positive, I would warn others about staying at this hotel.

Beautiful hotel. Friendly staff, Comfortable bed, nice breakfast.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The complimentary breakfast was great. I had an overall good experience there, will stay there again on my next visit.

In a quiet street yet walking distance from bars, restaurants and tourist attractions, I had a great stay at this boutique hotel. Big swimming pool and comfortable big room with high ceilings, and good amenities. The breakfast offers a delightful selection of locally sourced produce. @ballestrinaroundtheworld

Stay away from this hotel. Some of the issues we found were dirty toilets and rooms, aircon do not work, rooms without working lights, and staff/management were really rude after we complaint about these issues. Definetively, not a place I will recommend or come back.
