Kingsford Hotel Manila recensioner

It has been my 2nd time at Kingsford Hotel. On my second stay I requested to have at least city view. But according to the lobby staff the booked room are basically on location that has no city view. Additionally I was not able to use the e-kettle because the power source was not match with the socket( if that is correct term).

Our recent stay at the hotel was excellent. The check-in and check out process was smooth, and the staff were courteous and accommodating throughout our stay. The room was clean, well-maintained, and had all the amenities we needed. I particularly appreciated the breakfast buffet they gave us complimentary birthday cake it is delicious, the fast Wi-Fi and the comfortable bed, We love FROST by the pool on the 6th floor specially the staff Aena, Yvette, Therese and Sir Jhosua, which made it easy to relax after a long day. Overall, we had a great experience and would definitely stay here again.

Room is very small, definitely less than 26m2 on their room description. Bathroom is only separated by a simple curtain.

Not happy with 1st room  they gave us..But i insist them to transfer us to another room. At first they dont want to transfer us but im not a 1st time customer at kingsford so i insist . The 1st room  view  is with constraction  going on. No privacy…. Very dissapointed at first then the second room was good  its in the grand westside view.

Great stay at Kingsford Manila! I love the rooms and amenities! Love the polite and attentive staff. The rooms are clean and fragrant. The food choices at the restaurant is great. Thank you very much for a wonderful stay!

I stayed for a night with my partner and niece. This was my third time here, but unfortunately, I was disappointed with the service and room amenities. The room looked dated, and the overall experience didn’t match previous visits. I booked a room with breakfast for three, paying extra for my niece. During check-in, I confirmed this and even showed a photo of the booking. However, at breakfast, it still only showed two guests, and the staff came to our table and asked for a photo of my booking. There seemed to be poor communication between departments. The restaurant staff were not attentive, tables weren’t cleared promptly, and the buffet was lacking compared to before. There was no tea, the hot chocolate was empty, and several food warmers were left unfilled. I tried calling housekeeping five times with no answer and the reception twice before someone finally picked up. I requested an extra towel, which was never delivered. Even after asking a staff member in person, it still never arrived. As someone working in the hospitality industry, I found this experience very disappointing. I hope improvements can be made.

Staff are very friendly, Room is a not as cold. aircon is centralized you cannot achieve the temp you want. They have water dispenser in every floor. Buffet food is ok, limited viands to offer including in Sky pool, order in until before 8pm. lowest price compare to other hotel near aiport, I notice that pool water is more chlorine as you smell the scent when you swim. They have a lots of cake to sell, but no Free slice cake even you celebrate your birthday. hope you will give even slice cake as gift for celebrant.

The room was spacious, clean, and well-maintained, with comfortable beds and a nice view. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful throughout my stay.🥰🥰

They are very accomodating and friendly. They accomodated my special request for my husband’s birthday. Overall i enjoyed my stay.

Not bad for a 4 star hotel. Walking distance going to okada. We stayed for 1 night only and had Breakfast buffet the next morning, the food was okay nothing really special.

Kingsford Hotel – A Mixed Bag with Incredible Staff, But Misses the Mark on Quality I recently stayed at Kingsford Hotel, and I have to say—it’s a property with real potential, but it’s being held back by inconsistent quality and lack of polish. The bones are absolutely here: central location, solid structure, good amenities—but once you’re in the room, everything starts to fall short. Outstanding Staff That Deserve Recognition • Lyka at the front desk was friendly, personable, and even offered us discounts on breakfast at check-in—really appreciated the warm welcome. • Kat, the massage therapist—honestly, she shouldn’t even be here. She deserves to be at a 5-star luxury spa. Her massage was so good I’d return just for that experience. • AD at the front desk was charming and helpful, and consistently attentive. • Tonite was a standout for customer service—professional, experienced, and absolutely someone who belongs at a high-tier luxury hotel. Kingsford is lucky to have her. The Hotel: Pros & Cons The hotel could seriously benefit from a partnership with a major hotel brand like Hyatt, Marriott, or Hilton to bring the service standard, furnishings, and F&B quality up to par. We stayed in an Executive Suite, but the layout and furniture made it feel more like an Airbnb than a premium hotel room. There’s a lot of empty, dead space, and the furniture is too small and sparse for the room size. • Cleanliness: 7/10. I travel with my own wipes and found sticky streak marks in several places upon arrival. • Toiletries: Just okay. • Towels: Very inconsistent—some were thin and cheap, while others were surprisingly plush and high quality. • Curtains in the bathroom felt extremely cheap and brought the aesthetic down even further. Facilities & Amenities • The gym is actually great—well-equipped and one of the stronger features of the hotel. • The dry sauna in the locker room is another bonus, though the steam room wasn’t working. • Scent-wise, they use cheap room deodorizers every few rooms. I really wish they’d invest in higher quality air scent systems to elevate the experience. Food & Dining – A Letdown This was the biggest disappointment. Even with a discount, the breakfast was shockingly low quality. Definitely not worth paying for again. • Food options were cheap, and the bacon situation was absurd—I asked twice, 30 minutes before breakfast ended, and not only did no one follow up, but they actually removed the tray right after. • No fresh juice, everything was sugar-heavy “juice drink”, and it was strange (and honestly unprofessional) seeing staff lining up to use the guest beverage station. • The restaurant staff overall lacked attentiveness, many of them gossiping at the host stand or on their phones, which is not the vibe you want when paying for hospitality. Other Notes: • Pool deck has a nice view, though I didn’t get to try any food or drinks there. • Valet and front desk were consistently polite, which helps offset some of the rougher edges. Final Thoughts: Kingsford has serious potential, but it’s currently a mismatch of great staff and poor execution. The infrastructure is here to be something much more premium, and with the right investment in service training, food quality, and room furnishing, it could truly shine. For now, it’s a mediocre stay—fine for a night if you’re not particular, but definitely not a destination hotel. If they don’t make changes, nearby options like Grand Westside are looking much more promising. Would I return? Maybe for a massage from Kat and to say hi to Tonite. Beyond that—it depends on whether they level up.

I love the location of the hotel and also the staff are very accomodating and the hotel is very clean. The Breakfast is superb. I will recommend Kingsford Hotel to all my relatives and friends. 5 STAR for my rate.

A night to remember. We witnessed the amazing fireworks display outside. And unusual fireworks noise inside the hotel. the room isn't sound proof. As we can hear she's begging mercy for more. Hahaha

Super recomended , clean and good location with good view. Swimming pool is clean and food is delicious
