Hugely disappointing, don’t waste your money Apart from the very friendly staff the rest of the experience was underwhelming. The website and reviews are deceiving First room we were given was small and characterless. Luckily they couldn’t repair the faulty TV and got moved to a better room Bathroom sink only has cold water and was full of mould in the drain, no water provided despite the fact we were told you can’t drink the tap water, very artificial breakfast full of ultra processed packets of fairly inedible food, nowhere to sit and chill as the pool areas get full too quickly ……and unbelievably overpriced compared to their competition. What a mistake we made In addition they insist on 100% payment on arrival - now I understand why, they are concerned that you may check out early No idea who the owner is but there is a sense of meanness and money grabbing A shame as the staff are delightful - they should be working elsewhere to be truly appreciated

It was a great experience! The room was clean. ( excelente cleaners) good size and the small Swimming pool in the bedroom was great and warm. I loved it! Friendly and helpful staffs. The hotel isn’t close to Paraty Centre but there’s a car who can take and bring you back to the hotel for free and I found it excellent. The breakfast was good quality. I had the breakfast basket in the swimming pool and it was delicious and different. Worthy! The gym provides good equipments. I’ll be back when I have an opportunity!

Stayed here with my family for a week and the place was incredible, and I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Paraty. It's a bit far from the historic center so you'll need a car to move around and explore. ROOM We stayed at Suíte Master, the room was very big and clean. The bathroom was very spacious, with good toiletries included and a shower with nice water pressure and temperature. It had a large TV with many channels available, a good aircon system, and a mini fridge. I liked that the minibar was empty so we could buy our own drinks and keep them cold. Even though the room was in front of a pool and the car parking, it wasn't noisy at all. It was nice to chill and have a drink on the veranda after a day out. The bed was comfortable with a nice mattress and pillows. STAFF All the staff was very friendly and helpful in any area of the hotel, but especially the restaurant staff. RESTAURANT The food at the restaurant was really good, we ate there almost every day because of it, and everything we tried from the menu was great. The drinks were also very good, especially Jorge Amado. The buffet breakfast was excellent with so many options to choose from. The only negative was the burger place, I actually didn't try the burger myself, but I went with the family one night for dinner and they all complained that the meat was overcooked. I liked that I could sit at the burger place with them, but order meals from the restaurant menu. POOLS The 3 pools are very nice, but only one is heated, and it was always very crowded, especially in the evening. The other 2 pools were very nice during the day but a bit cold in the evening, but also I didn't visit during summer. I didn't appreciate that people are allowed to drink in the pool, so people had their beer bottles with them inside the pool, or bottles sitting at the edge of the pool, which can be quite dangerous if a bottle breaks and glass falls inside the pool. Not sure it's even allowed, but there was no one stopping people from doing it. FACILITIES The gym seemed quite large and nice, but I didn't use it. The sauna was good. The kid's area was nice and a great addition to keep the niece entertained, but it was good fun for the adults as well. I enjoyed the massage chairs as well. WIFI The wifi worked well throughout all the areas of the hotel

Our first time at the Pousada, we came for a couple of days off with the family and to enjoy Paraty. Overall great place. The ladies cleaning the rooms were a 5 start costumer service, they are friendly, polite, very clean and tidy. Special thanks to the 3 camareiras ( Ana, Larissa e Franciele) and Also to the Receptionist Stefani that helped my wife a lot and Sheila that was helpful and hard working even working feeling ill/sick. Hotel aplle hause top recomendo pra todos só felicidade hotel bem estruturado limpo e muito acolhedor super indico muito top quero deixar um aviso quem for lá preucura o Lucas do restaurante muito simpática com sorriso 😀 a todo instante bem prestativo obrigado 🙏🏻 Lucas por tudo vc fais toda a diferença.

My time in Apple House was just amazing. All the staff was super nice. Joel was an amazing host (and guide!), he recommended us so many things to do around Paraty and always willing to help. Thanks Joel and all the staff, we had a blast in Brazil!

Nossa experiência foi simplesmente incrível! A pousada é enorme, várias áreas para lazer. O restaurante é impecável, o buffet de café da manhã é maravilhoso. O quarto é muito aconchegante. E o que mais me encantou é que TODOS os funcionários são extremamente simpáticos e gentis.
