Hotel de Castiglione Paris recensioner

We booked a quadruple room for the whole family.  However, the room given to us was completely not suitable.  The shower was a see-through one with no door and facing the beds.   It was great for a romantic couple but with grown up children, it was totally not acceptable to us.  We complained and not without some argument, they offered 2 connecting rooms.  On the day of checkout, the reception called us and said because they were fully booked, we have to leave at noon sharp and not one minute more!  They even send a staff to our rooms to watch us pack.  We feel that the front desk could be improved.  Having said that, the hotel enjoys a really central location with walking distance to some of the famous tourist spots, and the breakfast is simple but good.  We especially like the fresh juice which you can make yourself at breakfast.

The Hotel is positioning as a 4 Star hotel. Unfortunately it needs a lot of renovation inside. As you can see at the pictures there is necessary to renovate the room doors and paint it again. Upon arriving at evening 20.10.24 I was told the hotel doesn’t see my reservation at all and they have no booked room for me. After 30 minutes negotiations, check the data, connection to provider I obtained the room only. As the receptionist told me there was a crackdown of the hotel booking system recently. Thank you for the reception officer to provide me 2 rooms apartment for the first night. The breakfasts were tasty with a good varieties of fresh fruits, quarks and good coffee. Location is perfect for the shoppers absolutely and it is not far away from the Metro stations.

The location of the hotel is great. The staff were quite friendly and helpful. The room itself, however, was a bit disappointing as a 4-start hotel.

The customer service at the front desk was disappointing. There was no warm welcome; staff simply stared blankly without offering assistance. However, the cleaning staff was wonderful—friendly and approachable. The rooms were clean, but the walls were extremely thin, making it easy to hear noise from both the street and neighboring rooms. Water leaked from shower onto the floor everytime. On a positive note, the location is excellent, with easy access to key destinations and stations. The area also feels very safe for walking around.

Hotel 5 minutes walking distance to place de la Concorde and Tuliries Garden, hotel breakfast buffet really enough

They sent me tò an other hotel at my check in without any previous comunication. I would prefere tò know It before in order tò go direct tò the other hotel.

The hotel is near the city with many high end boutiques shops and near many embassies. It is convenient to walk to several attractions.

Great location, stuff is very nice and helpful.  Breakfast is o.k., the room was nice and clean.

Great quiet safe location and close to the shopping area. The room is a bit noisy from the room and perhaps can install a better soundproofing window.

The breakfast was good specially the fresh juice pressed machine. And the variety of food was great. Spacious room for family of 3 people. But the hygiene level should improve, as I found bugs before check out in the morning. Good location and you can reach the most famous tourists spots

Hotel was good not much to do at the hotel but I will definitely recommend it

Location is convenience, in the opposite of the Japan Consulate. Breakfast is good.

Location was wonderful hyper central Paris but lots of traffic because of olympics preparation
