My experience with CheckMyGuest has been incredibly upsetting. I booked a stay and realized immediately I had chosen the wrong dates. Unfortunately the dates I actually needed turned out not to be available. I contacted them within the hour to let them know my mistake and requested a full refund. For 5 days and through many messages, I still have not received any real help with this issue. I just keep gettin bizarre disjointed responses in reply. They keep saying they’re looking into it and to contact them again the next day. I patiently wait only to get the same exact response the next day. This is a super straightforward issue, I booked the wrong dates, noticed my mistake instantly and need a refund. With costumer service like this, I cannot even imagine what it would be like coordinating check-in or any logistical issues with the during a stay. My advice is to steer clear from using this weird company.

The agency canceled our booking without notifying us and could only be reached by phone and email with great effort and a great deal of time. Contrary to the glossy website and many enthusiastic reviews from alleged customers who only wrote this one review, they are not interested in the customer at all. After five months our money is still not refunded. Read the other negative reviews and you'll know what to expect.

Checkmyguest are the worst hosts I’ve ever experienced on Airbnb. My husband and I rented a place for his parents back in December and they had the absolute worst experience. The pictures on the outside of the unit did not match what they actually experienced. The apartment was next door to a very large dumpster and the entire outside was filled with trash. To make matters worse, the bathroom window wouldn’t close so the apartment was filled with that smell of trash. It was in the middle of winter so the apartment was cold and the heat kept going out. They went without WiFi and even electricity. The stairs leading to the apartment were rotten and unstable which led to it being extremely dangerous for them who are elderly to walk up. They tripped many of times. Upon walking into the apartment building, you see large holes where doors should be with rotten wood hanging down. It was absolutely disgusting. Airbnb has tried to contact Checkmyguest to request our money back but they refuse to respond. We send pictures and videos of all of this to Checkmyguest and to Airbnb. The absolute worst experience ever.
