2024/Sept I recently stayed at this hostel and it was one of the worst I've ever encountered - if not the worst. See all the comments on Google/trip advisor and draw your own conclusions. Here are the negatives and positives: - Negative points: . Internet with a weak signal, which gets worse when you are in the kitchen or in the rooms on the second floor. I needed to use the internet on my cell phone on several occasions . There is no elevator and the spiral staircase can be dangerous if you have mobility problems or for the elderly . Old structure (needs to be renovated as soon as possible) . Unlike most hostels in big tourist cities, they charge for every thing that is given for free in other hostels: to rent towels they charge the rent + a deposit amount and even if you return the towels in good condition as expected, if you do not present a tiny receipt paper that you hand in at the entrance, the deposit amount is not refunded. . Unlike most hostels, there are no bathroom options inside the dorms, just a shower. . Room keys stop working whenever they are near electronic devices (I had to "reset" my room access card twice in three days... never seen this in any other hostel). So if you leave your room at night to go to the bathroom, sometimes you can't open the door when you return) . Unlike most hostels, there are no sockets near all the beds (if you are on the bottom bunk, for example, you will have to charge your devices away from the bed) . The alarm went off at around 4:45 am and all guests had to go downstairs and wait at reception until confirmation that everyhting was ok. I imagine it must happen often . Rooms with very cramped showers and no cloths on the floor, leaving everything always very wet . Unlike other hostels that have a cleaning team to do this after checkouts, they want you to hand over the sheets at checkout. This is usually the hotel's obligation and no one asks for this: you have to go down the cramped stairs (because there is no elevator) with suitcases and still carrying sheets to catch early flights/trains - Positive points: .It is well located in a relatively safe area of ​​Paris (with a 30-minute walk you can reach the Trocadero/Eiffel Tower, for example). . There are many useful shops nearby: franprix (a market 100 meters away), a laundry 50 meters away and numerous restaurants around (pizza hut, typical french boulangeries etc) . The public bathrooms appear to be regularly cleaned. To sum up: there are countless other more modern options in Paris with fair prices, further away than this hotel from the most central arrondissements, such as Generator and Le Village (which I recommend). This can be worked around, as the Paris metro system is very strong and you can find a station on every corner. The only thing that makes this hostel stand is the location, and even then it's not worth staying there.

Ubicación ok, pero baños sucios, desayuno pobre, personal atento. Sin ascensor y te cobran por dejar a cuidar la maleta el último día, 10 euros por maleta, muy caro lamentable. Si tuvieran mayor presupuesto recomendaria tomen otra opción.

Was die Anderen in ihren schlechten Bewertungen schreiben kann ich nur bestätigen. Ich war hier eine Woche mit 19 Anderen auf Studienfahrt untergekommen. Die Lage ist zwar okay, aber das ist auch das Einzige! Folgende Mängel haben wir festgestellt: - Aus den Abflüssen der Waschbecken roch es faulig - Fenster gingen nicht richtig zu, so zog es in der Nacht und ein paar Leute erkälteten sich. - In der Dusche war überall Schimmel wo es nur ging. - WC's waren dreckig - Dasselbe gilt auch für die Zimmer - Feuermelder im Zimmer war abmontiert - Die Betten waren so klapprig, dass die unten liegende Person keinen Spaß damit hatte, wenn die oben liegende Person sich bewegte. - Es gab keine richtigen Bettbezüge und das eine Tuch, welches man wohl um die Zugedecke wickeln sollte hatte in 50% der Fälle vermutlich "Blutflecken". - Aussicht auf Rohre, aus denen sogar schon Pflanzen rauswachsen. - Wenn Leute auf die Toilette nebenan gingen, hörte man das WC das Wasser nachziehen. Mit der Geräuschkulisse fiel das schlafen sehr schwer. (Wände aus Papier) - Frühstück war auch nicht überzeugend, ledriges Baguette, Marmelade die nach Zuckerwasser schmeckt und zweitklassige Croissantes. (dafür aber kostenlos) Insgesamt war dieses Hostel ein riesen Reinfall....Das kann Urlaube zu Horrortrips machen! Lieber 5€ mehr in die Hand nehmen und sich auf das verdiente Bett Abends freuen.

Chambre 2 lits superposés Demande pressante de changer au 03 11 pour cause de travail le 27 10 erreur de date de ma part en fait au moment de la réservation Chambre payée par avance le 11 10. 94,50 euros Impossible d obtenir ce changement Sans parler d un quelconque remboursement La direction de l hôtel demeure inflexible Alors que la chambre va facilement pouvoir être relouée durant cette période d’affluence et de vacances

Agréablement surpris !!! Bien situé et pas cher pour Paris Nous y sommes allés pour une nuit avec nos 2 filles de 10 et 6 ans... Avec un peu la boule au ventre à la lecture des commentaires très virulents (douches sales, WC sales, draps sales, bruit, ptit Dèj nul et j'en passe...) Et ben franchement pour nous c'était top, 1- Bien situé pour aller voir la tour eiffel (le must on la voit de la chambre 34😊) 2- Personnel pas du tout désagréable 3- chambre et literie propres 4- sanitaires certes communs mais propres(après tout dépend de l'éducation de chacun aussi) 5- ptit Dèj inclus plus que correct et plutôt sympa dans cette cave en pierre 6- bruit ? Ça se peut mais nous on est des marmottes donc voilà 😅 Je cherche un point négatif mais je n'en trouve pas ou sûrement que nous ne cherchons pas la petite bête. Si comme nous vous avez l'habitude de la simplicité alors je vous le recommande. Nos filles ont adoré, nous aussi Notre devise... Toujours voir le verre à moitié plein ça te permet de vivre les choses de façon positive
