Apollo Motel Parkes

Unfortunately was not the best of stays, had a issue with the power point in the bathroom not working, and when I reported it to staff they were more interested in to why I was using the power point in the bathroom and not the main room. I was not given an apology, another room, or discount for something that was not working in the room. Another issue I can across was the room was not 100% clean, for starters cobwebs, stains, dirty marks, and mould though out the room.

Do not recommend this motel or the rude lady at reception. We booked and paid for accomodation through wotif, and on arrival the lady completely disregarded us and said it wasn't her 'problem'. She told us to go away and take it up with the booking company. Here we are, late at night with a 4x month old infant and no accomodation left in Parkes. When the booking site confirmed our booking and payment to this motel, the lady kept hanging up on both of us and the booking company. She refused to assist or rectify the issue. We will be taking this further, and urge any guests looking for accomodation to steer clear of this place and the rude lady that runs it. Upon reading other reviews, I'm now relieved we did not stay here.

Was a good unit, but no facilities for dinner or breakfast. We went for dinner at the motel next door. I had paid for the unit when I booked, but according to the motel it wasn’t paid, so it got paid twice.

The hotel was comfortable and clean. The room was spacious for the three of us. The staff were friendly and the express check-out was great when we had to leave early. The hotel was not far from the heart of Parkes and only a short drive away from the Dish.

We picked up a puppy in Queensland and drove home stopping in Parkes overnight. Rachael the owner was wonderful and very helpful, the rooms are lovely and clean. Apollo is PET FRIENDLY and really lives up to the statement, highly recommended!

We had the dog-friendly family suite. We arrived, exhausted and mid-road trip, to a friendly lady who had waited late for us to arrive at 9pm. Our room was spacious and spotless, shower was great, and beds were comfortable. Would stay again and recommend to others!

Booked a family room while travelling up from Victoria. Rachel was very helpful and made our late check in and early check out very easy. We had a family room which was large and provided ample space for us all. Room was clean and comfortable. Motel also had trailer parking which is great.

Get real with the reviews people. This is a very average, dated motel with small, unattractive, besser block, low ceiling rooms with noise from adjoining rooms and clunking box air-con/heater units that drowned out the TV and woke us up in the night. It was clean and the bed comfortable - OK for a night - but there must be better choices.

Lovely and clean Very quiet and cosy Very well priced Highly recommended Could not understand why I was going to be charged more for my stay just because I put the wrong PIN number in? I carry more than one card and I had not used my pin for 2 years because of Covid. Still it worked the second time and we didn’t have to go there. I defiantly would not of paid extra it was a good bluff never heard of that before!!!!!!!!!!
