It was a weekend away and we stayed one night here and enjoyed it. The unit we had was very clean and comfortable especially the bed. We were on the ground floor with the car parked right in front of unit. The room is exactly what is needed for a one night stay. The pub is onsite just a walk away from rooms and it serves up delicious pub food. I had an excellent steak. Good value here.

We recently stayed 3 nights at the Coachman Hotel Motel Parkes in a Queen Room during June while attending a conference in Parkes. The motel is located on the edge of the CBD and is an easy level walk to shops and cafes in town. Although only one block from the Newell Highway we did not hear any traffic noise. The motel has a mixture of ground floor and first floor units, and following booking when my wife injured her foot I contacted the motel to request a ground floor unit and they were able to accommodate us. Some points for guests to note: * There is no separate reception - at check in you pay at the hotel bar. * The rooms have a microwave and also full plates and cutlery. * A full size kettle is provided, which I always find a bonus when trying to fill a thermos! * The washbasin is located in the motel unit separate to the ensuite shower and toilet. The ensuite has a sliding door. * The shower was very large. The rooms are a fair size although somewhat dated. Importantly the bed was very comfortable. At $119 per night we thought the Coachman Hotel/Motel is very good value and would stay again. TC

We really enjoyed our overnight stop at this hotel. The check in was very easy and the lady gave us helpful advice for some queries we had. The room was so clean and the bathroom spotless. Situated on the outskirts of the town for a good departure towards Dubbo.

Love this place Central to everything Spacious room Friendly staff. Easy check in. Bed is comfortable. Had a good night sleep On-site parking Pokies also. If that’s your thing not very covid safe in the pokies.

This hotel/motel we stayed at for three nights in the Queen Room, as we visited Parkes to see the Dish. It was a comfy stay and the room size was reasonable as was the bathroom. We were upstairs and you have to climb quite a few stairs to get to your room. It also has undercover parking which is great. The room was great, with tea and coffee and the usual things you get in a motel and it was generally clean. However, the rail above the stairs could do with a dusting. The laundromat is tired and old and although very handy could do with a clean. The people were helpful and hospitable and we enjoyed our stay. It has a pub and a restaurant and we did go to the pub as well as the restaurant and were treated well. Wi fi was good. The location is great. I did leave some clothes behind and I rang the hotel and they were very good and posted my items home - thank you.
