The hotel itself is ok. The night shift staff lady was very nice. The beds are comfortable enough for couple night. The floor is dusty. Over all, it was a quiet and ok place to stay BUT the only thing I don't like was the way they transfer our luggages from the front gate to our room. To be able to get to the hotel you have to walk thru a dirty path with animals poop. So our luggages were smelly, the poop smell allover our luggages wheels. Luckily, I had my disaffection spray with me. I sprayed my luggages before we transfer to another hotel.

This a clean and well maintained lodge nestled among paddy fields outside Paro. It is not walkable from the main town, so more suited to someone who appreciates peace and quiet. Breakfast is strangely overpriced.

We stayed 2 nights at the Village Lodge on a recent trip to Bhutan, while in Paro. The hotel is a great combination of quaint Bhutanese home and modern amenities in the room. We felt safe and our room was clean, the staff helpful. Highly recommend this - great value for money!

Spacious rooms and bathrooms- really clean, comfortable with good views. All of the staff are so friendly and can’t do enough to help. Breakfast and evening meals have been really good- this is the third hotel I’ve stayed in Bhutan now and this one has been the best food. The chefs did a really fun demonstration on how to make Mo Mo’s!

Accueil inexistant (pas de welcome drink, pas d'attention particulière, arrivés à 18h00..; pas de salon ou de réception ouverts, juste les couloirs et escaliers glacés !). Cependant, très bonne literie. Des chiens aboient en début de nuit puis se calment. Bon restaurant pour dîner bien que la salle soit petite les assiettes sont bonnes. Salle de bain à revoir (tuyauterie et galets peu hygiéniques). Assez bon petit déjeuner. Pas si loin que cela de la ville en voiture. In fine, on recommande plutôt.
