Pandrossos Hotel - Paros

Non sapendo da dove, comincio con il dire che l'unico aspetto positivo è la posizione, probabile perché non si può cambiare e/o peggiorare nel tempo. 10 min. a piedi dal centro di Parikia con vista porto. Per il resto uno schifo a cominciare dalla struttura, medioevale con arredi vecchi e non curati. Stanza con doccia da speleologo, lenzuola stappate, copricuscini bucati, copri materasso assente. Stanza sporca e visibilmente non pulita. Colazione miserabile, 1 bevanda all'arancia da un distributore riempito con fustini industriali, no torte, no fette biscottate, affettati scadenti al punto che dal 2° giorno ci siamo organizzati privatamente. Caffè espresso extra (3 euro). Dulcis in fundo l'ultimo giorno sono spariti 50 euro dal portafogli. Dimenticavo: Prenotato documentato una matrimoniale, ho dormito 2 notti su 5 con letti singoli (il titolare ha detto x colpa dell'agenzia). Io vi ho avvisato!!! Il tutto per la modica cifra di 200 euro a notte.

The hotel room was basic and a little tired and dated, however it was comfortable and in a good location. I booked last minute so perhaps the choice of rooms was limited which affected my experience. I didn't use any of the facilities but the restaurant/seating around the windmill looked nice and was always busy. The hotel itself was on the top of a small hill, next to the ocean overlooking the port and town so it was a good location overall. If I knew I could get a better room next time, I would stay there again.

As everyone says the views from the rooms of the bay of Paros are wonderful and the pool is very good. The manager ( who does not appear to have many staff and is omnipresent) is very charming and friendly but he runs a tight ship. The breakfast is meagre and for 85 euros a night this is very highly priced even if you take into account inflated Cycladic island prices. We moved on to Crete where I am writing this in the Hotel Ideon, 5 euros cheaper a night yet massively more comfortable, stylish well decorated etc. Simply no comparison .The Paros hotel could only justify those prices if it had a serious makeover.

Cute, charming hotel a quick walk to the ocean front restaurants and shops. The hotel itself is extremely outdated but it was clean! I could barely fit in the shower (I’m 5’2 and 110lbs) and there was no hot water the first night so that was disappointing. The views from the room were amazing, so it made up for the room itself. Unfortunately the restaurant wasn’t open. There was a breakfast but it was extremely limited. It was free but I’d probably just spend $10 to go get breakfast in town. Overall, it was comfortable but wouldn’t want to stay here for more than 1-2 nights.

Old hotel, pricy for its facilities. Partly -lightly renovated- really mix and match. Old windows from the 70’s, restaurant breakfast room also goes back decades with dark brown furniture, ventilation from bathroom rooms is facing the corridors ..disgusting. Rooms partly renovated with new bathrooms and also partly renovated rooms. Breakfast not good. Depending on the price you pay you may or may not choose to stay.
