Beso del Viento (Adults Only)

This boutique hotel has limited guest rooms for a peaceful, quiet stay about 3 hours southwest of San Jose. The owners are charming and considerate - a French couple conversant in English and Spanish, as well as other languages. A delicious breakfast is included with fresh fruit and juices, toast and eggs made to order. The hotel is across the street from a deserted beach, so walk over to enjoy the day on the sand - and don't forget about the spectacular sunsets over the Pacific Ocean! You'll want a car to explore the neighborhood - 30 min to Manuel Antonio National Park and the lively town of Quepos, local restaurants and beaches.

We were looking forward to a relaxing stay right by the beach, as written in the hotel description, but in the end we immediately canceled the stay upon arrival. The hotel is located at the end of the urban development in a very depressing environment with a ramshackle large building right next door. The beach is untidy, swimming in the sea is not very pleasant. No sunbeds, no umbrellas, scorching sun. The rooms are very small. Pool dirty, fine black sand or dust everywhere. The staff was very unpleasant, we even had to take off our shoes to be allowed into the first floor of the hotel in the main building. In the city I wasn't sure if I was really in Costa Rica. This is not the Costa Rica you want to enjoy. So we didn't sleep a single night in the hotel.

Beso Del Viento is a place of tranquility and beauty. We were Three couples staying Four nights in this Nine rooms hotel that managed by the owners, Bernard and Elizabeth, from France. Two people how are very kind, helpful and fantastic hosts, that bring the French cuisine to this remote place in Costa Rica. We ate breakfast and three dinners in the hotel, and all were fantastic and very tasty, hence,French cuisine. We spent our days in the lovely pool surrounded by a well manicured garden, walking in the secluded, black sand beach and off course, swimming in the warm Pacific Ocean ( there are no beach umbrellas or chairs provided by the hotel). Manuel Antonio park is only 45 minutes away from the hotel and there is a lovely restaurant, a short distance from the hotel, for lunch or dinners. Bernard, Elizabeth and their staff were working long hours every day , but always found time to talk, give advice and share from their experiences. Thank you again for making our stay with you, so memorable.

Le paradis sur terre les pieds dans l'eau. Bernard et Élisabeth proposent un havre de paix au bord du pacifique, dans un écrin de verdure, sous les pandanus et autres palmiers. Tout est beau et raffiné. L'hôtel est très bien tenu. L'accueil est chaleureux . Bernard prépare de super petits déjeuners. Élisabeth est vraiment sympa. L'accès à la plage est direct à pieds. Les singes capucins passent devant la fenêtre de la chambre. Un petit restaurant où l'on mange bien à 500 mètres. Nous avons passé un joli séjour à Beso del Viento. Nous y serons bien restés un peu plus.

Si vous recherchez calme, tranquillité et sérénité, n'attendez plus ce lieu est fait pour vous ! Certes un peu décontenancé à l'arrivée par les règles de la structure, nous avons très vite compris que celles ci sont indispensables pour vivre sereinement l'expérience Beso Del Viento. L'endroit est d'une propreté irréprochable, les chambres décorées avec goût et le petit déjeuner fort agréable. Les propriétaires sont professionnels et le personnel très agréable. A quelques mètres d'une magnifique plage quasi déserte, vous allez pouvoir déconnecter rapidement. Amateurs de fêtes et de bruits, fuyez cet établissement et laissez nous nous reposer dans cet havre de paix.

Das Hotel ist sehr schön gestaltet in französischem Flair, mein Zimmer hatte Klimaanlage und Ventilator, alles war sauber und man konnte warm duschen. Auch das Frühstück war gut mit Früchten, Eiern, Toast mit Butter, Marmelade und Kaffee. Der Strand ist in 2 Minuten fußläufig zu erreichen. Negativ fand ich die strengen Hausregeln, dass man in der oberen Etage nur barfuß laufen darf (wenn man mal eben was aus dem Zimmer holen will sehr lästig) und dass pünktlich um 22 Uhr Nachtruhe ist, man kann nicht mehr irgendwo mit Leuten sitzen, die Haustür wird abgeschlossen und man muss aufs Zimmer gehen und still sein. Das ist wie Jugendherberge als ich 13 war. Die Besitzer haben eine wunderschöne Anlage geschaffen, aber es fehlt die Gastfreundlichkeit, ich habe mich nicht willkommen sondern lästig gefühlt in diesem Haus. Und ich bin gespannt auf den Kommentar der Gastgeber, denn die Kommentare auf kritische Rezensionen sind wirklich lesenswert, weil sie ihre Gäste gerne beleidigen und als Idioten darstellen, die nicht in der Lage sind, die Angaben auf ihrer Website richtig studiert zu haben. Das finde ich wirklich schade und armselig. So eine schöne Anlage, aber ich würde nicht nochmal herkommen.
