Amazing place .all my family enjoy it . Hotel is very well-maintained.Pool is so good nice clean and refreshing. you have a nearby just a few steps different restaurants ,super Market, fitness club, gas station.Real gem in Parry sound. you have on the short driving distance different trails for hike beaches. staff goes above and beyond to make place looking great.. fantastic customer service. thank you very much for made our stay so pleasant.

Albeit an older building it's a quaint and comfortable hotel. Very accommodating, I called the day before and they graciously upgraded my room to allow for an early check in. We enjoyed the pool first thing in the morning it was refreshing.

This place is not safe. Outside doors don’t open reliably, inside doors have no slide locks or safety locks. It has a broken down 5th wheel on the property and lots of men hanging around out back. (Best value rents rooms monthly). My 13 year old daughter was terrified. The staff showed us a couple unsafe options before they refused to let me cancel and refused to give me my money back. It cost us $180 not to stay there and only an additional $150 to stay next door at another cleaner and safer motel. Oh and don’t bother booking for dreams of their pool and hot tub one’s empty and wrapped in caution tape and the other is cloudy and gross.

Clean, well maintained, comfortable room, convenient location, friendly and helpful staff, pool is clean and cared for, good serve yourself breakfast in a bright clean dining room. It's not a four star hotel and spa. But if you're looking for a very well priced motel with no surprises you won't go wrong. 10 PM is when the office closes, so if you need a later check in phone them directly to book and arrange it.

Poop stain on toilet stain on bedding dust in window screen you could not even see out .floors have not been cleaned in I dont know how long .paid $180,00 asked for a different room owner showed two rooms just as dirty and said I would have to pay for upgrade. All I can say worst place I have ever seen. I am still in disbelieve that these hotel websites have it listed as it is a health hazard.

Our room wasn’t clean! The carpet was dirty, there is black stain at fridge among other stains. They put stained sheets on top of the duvet cover, which is also stained, dirt on picture, THC vape pen found in tissue box. Washroom: There is mold in the shower, the curtain was stained & smelled, food ( sauce ?) on wall & door, the fan didn’t work & missing cover. Spoke to management the evening we arrived about finding vape pen & he stated the room would be deep cleaned the next day. I was in the room when the cleaner came to deep clean, she wiped the hard surfaces ( we had done this the day before). Cleaned the bathroom? Manager/owner stated I could tell her what I wanted cleaned, but the cleaner didn’t speak English & he had difficulty finding staff that did but I wouldn’t know about that because I am white. The next 2 days the cleaner came in, did replace the the towels, empty garbage can however didn’t make the bed, vacuum or do any other cleaning, managed to remove bottles that were behind a bag on the dresser, she had to walk by the unmade bed to see the bottles & remove them. Would not recommend staying here to expensive.

I booked a room for my husband and myself, and a room for our friends. This review is from the four of us. Outside of the Inn is not very appealing. Location is in a quieter end of town, which is great for us. (no high traffic) The owner is very friendly and helpful. We did take note that it looks like the owners are working on renovating. The dining room was fine, and well set up for the continental breakfast. Hallways are dimly lit and is in need of fresh paint, and new carpeting. The rooms are (very) dated (wallpaper / boarder was peeling), but clean. The beds were very comfortable. (and bug free) The pool was lovely. We enjoyed time spent in the pool. (Wish the hot tub was working) could use better lighting and fresh paint Free wifi TV okay No elevators... if you are not good with stairs, request ground floor room. Not a fancy place. It had what we wanted. The price was right. You get what you paid for... Clean room, peace and quiet and a comfortable bed was all we wanted.

We stayed here for one night after trying several other inns that were booked up. It appeared that our room in the rear of the inn was still under repair but was being rented anyway during the busy tourist season We were surrounded by motorcycle folks, some who were long term renters with dogs. We had a small dog but kept him in our room. Our bathroom window had a large fist size hole causing the AC to run all night and it was not covered with a blind or drape until we hung a towel over it. By the next morning many insects were visiting us. The sink had holes which had been plugged with a white putty. The beds were good but not well lighted for reading. TV was streamed only. I could go on but you get the gist I'm sure. We will not be returning soon. Marty and Nancy

We loved the place and location. Not a super modern place, but the indoor pool was a hit for the kids, Trapper restaurant next door is wonderful Shopping and health club also next door made the entire package worthwhile. Peter at the front desk was the most accommodating and friendly person we ever met on our road trip through Canada. Others at the front desk were also helpful as we had a medical emergency that required 2 extra days. The place does have a vintage old fashioned motor in motel feel from the 50's or 60's, but that adds to some of its charm. Maybe not for everyone, for example, no elevator but we enjoyed our stay. Don't miss the restaurant Trappers next door. Peter was our go to person at the motel and we cannot say enough good things about him!
