The Malayan Plaza Hotel recensioner

This is by far one of the dirtiest hotels I've stayed at in the philippines. The staff are great but the hotel has zero upkeep and it shows. There was a lot of hair on our bed and yellow stains. The lounge chair is worn out and dirty. The lamp shades were super dirty and hung on by tape. The tile we're coming up off the floor. It's very unbelievable how bad these rooms are. The lobby and pictures make the rooms look nice, but please stay at a different hotel as this is below a one-star hotel. They also mentioned free parking, and then when we arrived, they charged us an extra 400php per day for parking. Total scam as there was a bunch of open parking slots. I would definitely not recommend this hotel. They need major renovations to bring this hotel into the 21st century. Please choose a different hotel.

I have to ask them to changed the mattress protector because it was so filthy. The bathroom was a little bit mouldy. Breakfast was ok but not recommended but services was thumbs up. Staffs are polite and helpful.

Place is well-maintained. Staff are friendly and reliable. We didn’t encounter any issue to throughout our stay. Recommended!!

The staff are great and accommodating. The only downside is on my first night, the room was not pleasant and not maintained. The air conditioner was loud , and I was not able to sleep at night. I requested to be transferred to another room with good amenities They moved me to another room in good condition.

We had a great time! I and my kids love every part of the hotel.

Good location. 5-7 minute walk to SM Megamall which is also a bonus. And a 24hour restaurant + convenience store outside lobby entrance in case you want to grab some food. Only downside had to wait for the lift long time, seemed to be only 1 lift works out of the 3. Their breakfast buffet could have more options, but staff were super friendly and room is nice and cosy. The terrace is amazing as you are looking right across the shopping mall. Regardless, i’d still come back.

We had a pleasant stay, the room is spacious and clean. Staff are friendly and accommodating and lots of malls nearby. Great value for money, will stay again in the future. 😊

We stayed for 3 nights on Triple Deluxe room. Very different from what it shows on the picture. Facilities are poor. The shower on room 3017 is not working properly. The water on the square shower head was coming out sideways! Towels are worn out. The room facilities could really do a renovation. Think it was over priced for what we got. Maybe we just got the worst room. Brekkie was okay / below average. Staff are really nice and friendly, was prompt to provide assistance with the safe. Didnt get to use the pool but it looked nice and clean.

Room 2311 bathroom sink is clogged and place looks really old Good service, especially the buffet staff No toothbrush provided

The lobby is modern and check-in is quick. Rooms are spacious and nicely decorated, but there are no free toothbrushes or toothpaste in the bathroom. Complimentary parking was nit available for that day as well. The staff is friendly and helpful, and the hotel has good facilities for meetings. Overall, it's a comfortable stay with a great location in Ortigas, despite the missing bathroom essentials.

The towels were not the usual new clear white towels we get from other hotels we go to. It was rough on the skin. There was no ready vault in the room, we had to request for it. The lighting in the room seemed lacking. Furniture needs improvement & change. Breakfast was good though. The location is ideal.
