Stage Stop Inn

5 out of 5. Perfectly cooked burgers- very good beef. Super guacamole! Specials almost every day. Air conditioned, friendly staff. The hotel looks nice too. Lots of tables for bigger groups, but it’s a small town so staff can be stretched. Worth being patient😉

The rooms were spacious enough ... very comfortable ...the bed was wonderful. The location was perfect for us "birders." The staff was very friendly. Our room was on the first floor just outside of the pool area. It was decorated very nicely. We will definitely visit again the next time. My only complaint would be the associated restaurant. We had dinner there two nights in a row and did not have a good experience either night. Breakfast was wonderful at the Gathering Grounds a couple of doors down - and their lunch was delicious the previous time we visited.

Reserved ground floor kitchenette - was bumped to the second floor kitchenette. Not a problem. If you want a kitchenette here, please bring your roll of paper towels. Kitchen has enough plates / cups / utensils for three (3) humans. Great fridge / freezer, micro and convection oven combo, hot plate for sauce pan, sink, dish soap and sponge. Beds are comfy, but could use some upgrading. Linens / bath towels are good. No hair dryer for those needing / wanting to blow dry hair. No iron or ironing board. You are in Patagonia..... not New York City! Front Office / Check in Staff are more than friendly and will do their best to accommodate your needs. Round table with seating for two (2) so you can enjoy in room dining. WI-FI, Direct TV large flat screen TV. Nice closet to store your clothes bags. Double sink bathroom vanity area. Ample parking if not in front of Stage Stop, directly across street. Traveling with pets? Directly across the street is Patagonia Park - wonderful walking area for dogs, MUTT MITT Stations (poop pick up mitts) are amply stocked. Great park! Beautiful Inn, well kept - clean, clean, clean. Pool was being renovated during our September 2022 stay. Again, not a problem for us. Must see Lake Patagonia and walk the cross over bridge. Must visit Ovens of Patagonia and Gathering Grounds Coffee / Espresso shop.

Room was comfortable and clean. The courtyard was being refurbished and I'm sure it will be nice when completed. It was centrally located with everything within walking distance. Price was a high for a property of this type, but considering it was the only space in town and it's a small community, we were totally ok with it. We only encountered staff at check in and housekeeping. They were friendly and seemed genuinely happy to see us. We were staying here to get some fishing in at Lake Patagonia and would certainly stay again.
