We stayed there for four days and had a number of functions related to marriage of my son there (main was at Taj, Patna) like Haldi, Mehndi, Sangeet etc. The rooms were decent enough and food quality & taste OK. Some things I found strange about the hotel - 1) Luggage Trolley is not there ( strange for a Hotel with nearly 30 rooms). 2) The Hotel has kept a very haggard & outdated external look which gives it a too primitive appearance which is dull and bereft of glamour ( the rooms inside are modern though). The Hotel should get fresh elevation done to make it look modern & presentable. The Hotel does thriving business so this should be very much on anvil. 3) Why they have kept the courtyard portion as Dining room ? - it is not proper esp. in hot summers where air conditioning need comes up. Any other Hall type room can be made the Dining. 4) No any portion has been kept in the hotel in which a room occupant can come out and sit and relax - the terrace has some or other function going always. But yes a balcony is there with each room which of course is not cooled and in some rooms shared - so does not work as substitute. The plus point of the Hotel is it's location in Patliputra colony and ample vehicle parking space in front. Rooms are decent enough and some really spacious. The reception desk is normally very responsive & Polite ( A quality which the Hotel's general staff have ) but we also saw a rude angle of them , when the desk staff at around 6.30 pm or so on 2nd March, stealthily switched off the ACs of the lounge there, so that people relaxing there leave the hall out of suffocation - feeling hot. This was spotted and the reception staff were just red faced in shame for their inhospitable indecent act when sounded on this.
