D Apartment

The building is old and the price is not cheap. there is a air con fan unit in the balcony. when you turn on the jot air vote out so you can't stay there even though there is no view.

I love the location and the staff

Well after reading reviews started to feel abit anxious about arriving here etc we originally booked D Express Hotel but the price is so expensive and we needed 2 rooms. The staff at D Apartments we cannot fault they are very helpful and always there when you need someone. The girls on reception in the day don’t really have a clue I think it’s a language barrier problem though. The Night man receptionist is absolutely lovely, he speaks lovely English and also very down to earth, that lovely I bought him a very large bottle of Singha Beer, I don’t think so don’t know what I’m buying when it’s alcohol but he loved it and said he drinks all the time in a morning. I will say but like anywhere really in Thailand, the area is very RAT Infested, not the Apartments but outside around be careful after dark when black bags are out the Rats are huge! Lots of cockroaches around but none found in the apartments. Me and my Mjm are both a squeamish when it comes to long tails and creepy crawlies. The rooms are basic and quite dated, the Bed is really comfortable and I suffer with back and leg problems. Shower could be better but it’s a shower and you can get a nice clean wash. On the veranda there is a sink where you can do a garment hand wash, I love that it’s really useful, soap powder and softener is really cheap from 7Eleven shop you will find these shops everywhere also Tops shop too. In Thailand the water smells like sewage but the all area smells of sewage but you will see lots of Thais sniffing Nostril inhalers an it is because of the sewage/drain smells. If your looking for a nice Bar try ‘Only Fools and Horses’ out of the apartments turn right walk up the street also if you want a nice Burger but I really recommend the Bacon roll and ask for a egg on it, she opens at 5pm till 3am and she’s situated next door but one to the Only Fools and Horses Bar, her business is called “MAEW’s Burger 2”. Also up the road past Only fools bar there is a small Laundry business and they are cheap and very recommended. Don’t let the reviews put you off, all you need is a place to stay for a good nights sleep and a shower, but the aircon was very noisy in my Room floor 7 room 704 but not night noise around and only one floor up to the pool no lift access to the pool but steps up, the pool is very small and has a little seat area in the pool with a button for bubbles not like a jacuzzi but the best thing next to one I suppose. The pool isn’t recommended for diving it’s very shallow and also very very slippery inside, if you have some aqua shoes I recommend those. Everyday the cleaner is available and fresh bedding ALL THE TIME!!! yes the Apartments are clean and also toilet roll is provided everyday also free bottles of water labelled with the Apartments name and logo. The pool Towels and Hair driers are available from reception free of charge. Hope my review has helped some people but the area is full of Men and one quote of the area was ‘Pussy Galo

The location is very good and close to everything. Rooftop pool is small but clean, the only thing that really needs changing are the TV’s that are very old and outdated. Staff were very good, would definitely stay again when next in Pattaya!

I like this hotel the rooms are large well stocked with nice balcony good swimming pool on roof wifi very good staff very friendly and helpful lift (a must for me) next door is the cheaper hotel with no lift and then the D Hotel at the back The D aparts only have small reception no restaurant or breakfast but many choices out on the street. Not sure about parking? It is in a great position for getting to see Pattaya in both day and night Just a point if using Bolt/Grab make sure you get them to come to D Apartment 2 otherwise will go to the Hotel also it is quiet no noise from the nightlife

Overall OK Was fine based on the price. HWS did not work and the maintenance guy didn't fix TV was fixed but I had to teĺl him what to do. Good location and overall OK.
