First, let me state that we are a "Marriott family" and typically stay in Marriott properties mainly because of the customer service, friendly staff, and included breakfast! Just sharing our family's experience with those considering staying at the Pensacola Springhill Suites. Originally, I submitted feedback to Lindsey Neville (Hotel Manager) regarding our latest stay. I indicated that the location was great but that the breakfast did not live up to the standards promised by the hotel. Ex: served only gravy with sausage bits and gravy, mini waffles, Cherrios, watery orange juice, coffee with no creamer). I explained that one of the primary reasons we chose the hotel was for the included breakfast and asked what assurances she could offer that the breakfast would be up to the promised standard if we chose to give the hotel another chance. I found Ms. Neville's response very interesting in that it seemed to indicate that she was not really interested in retaining our business. Needless to say I was quite surprised by the response. Below is the message I received from Ms. Neville. "We would provide the brand standard for our complimentary breakfast. We understand if you feel other hotels would suite your needs better. Thank you again for taking the time to provide us feedback. Safe travels, Kind regards, Lindsey Maurer Neville GENERAL MANAGER Springhill Suites by Marriott Pensacola"
