Very pleasant experience. Friendly greeting, advice about local eateries, sights etc. Lovely fresh clean towels, bedding and room. Mattress one of the best I've ever sleep on. Highly recommend this place, location good and even the seagulls were quiet!

We are on our way back from a wonderful 2 night stay in Penzance. Our room was on the top floor and no problem for us to access. Maybe request a room on lower level if you’re not good with steps. Our room was immaculately clean - we could not fault it. The beds were very comfy and plenty of pillows for comfort. The en-suite had a lovely shower that provided shower gel and shampoo. Large towels and hand towels are also provided. Plenty of tea and coffee in room and glasses for water and wine. The tv was a good size too. The owner Alan was lovely and very hospitable. He gave lots of useful information for days out and places where we could eat - he even left an annotated map with places to eat and short cuts to the town. A lovely host, we enjoyed our chats 😊 The location is perfect for a base to explore and has free public parking outside. It was minutes from the promenade and a short walk into Penzance town. We enjoyed eating out in Newlyn which is about a 10 minute walk. Overall a fantastic stay - thank you Alan and Sally. We’ll definitely be recommending you to friends and family.

As a solo traveller, i needed somewhere i could call home for a few days while i adventured off all over the place......this was it! I have never before stayed somewhere quite as fantastic as this. Sally and Alan welcomed me with zero fuss, showed me what i needed to know and let me to get on with my busy trip. The Room - Massive, beautiful, clean and comfortable....you know that feeling and smile you get as you walk in and you know you picked well, this'll do it to you! The bed is a comfy double, with lots of comfy cushions and pillows and i slept so well. A kettle with the usual bits and peices are also provided. Only thing that could be added was a mini fridge possibly but not a problem. The bathroom was big too, just great with everything i needed, big towels, soaps and gels. The hosts - These guys are the perfect team! Sally and Alan run the ship and they are a beautiful couple with the most attention to detail who could not do more for you. Always around to help when needed, good for a chat and a laugh and have all the info and advice you ever need. They are the pefect team!! If you are visiting Penzance, this is the place! I'll start by saying that this place is mis-named - it is NOT a bed & breakfast! Although we were greeted by the host I forgot to ask why breakfast is no longer offered but, instead, we were directed towards establishments at least 10-minutes (uphill) away. That said, the place is charming and located in a quiet, residential area. I had no problem finding a place to park, outside, on either evening. The seafront is less than a 5 minute walk from the front door but the town centre is considerably further, especially via the promenade. But it's a great jumping-off point for plenty of surrounding sites and so is to be recommended (breakfast excepted!).

Nous avons choisi cet établissement suite aux bons avis qui étaient faux comme d'habitude !! Notre chambre a été annulée le jour de notre arrivée alors que le paiement était prévu sur place ; ça commençait mal ! mais le propriétaire nous a quand même accueillis (sans doute parce que personne d'autre n'avait réservé entre temps). La chambre n° 1 était très étroite et la salle de bain minuscule comme un placard ! Le pire, c'est le breakfast entièrement du LIDL ! les oeufs n'étaient pas frais et de mauvais goût : nous avons été malades donc, on a fini la semaine seulement avec les toasts . je déconseille fortement cet hébergement aux français qui aiment leur confort et un minimum de qualité et de fraîcheurs dans l'alimentation. Le seul point positif : la propreté. Rapport qualité prix excessif pour les prestations offertes !

Wir hatten ein sehr schönes Zimmer. Das Bad war mini, aber sauber und ausreichend. Die Lage ist sehr gut, in der Straße haben wir immer einen Parkplatz gefunden. Alan ist ein sehr netter Gastgeber, hatte schon einen Lageplan mit Tipps vorbereitet. Er sollte allerdings in der Beschreibung angeben, dass sie kein Frühstück mehr anbieten.
