Golden Coast Beach Hotel

This is a fabulous hotel to stay in. We have a beautiful room, the service is excellent and the food is fresh and tasty. The pools are large and there is plenty of space so it does not feel like people are on top of each other. The massage services are excellent and I can highly recommend Tamas who is expert at his job.

We have just returned from a one week stay. For the price we paid we think it was fantastic value. Overall the hotel was great, the location just outside the busy main beaches was perfect for us as we walked into Protaras and it gets pretty packed the further you go. It felt a relief to get back to the hotel and away from the masses. It’s situated in a lovely location with plenty of room, not packed in at all. The food was delicious with lots of desert options. We found the breakfast a little less varied and it wasn’t particularly hot but dinner and lunch were better. The drinks and service were excellent. The indoor pool area to us was a disappointment compared to the rest of the hotel and needs improvement. First day we went in was freezing and when we mentioned it they seemed surprised in the spa. Two days later we noticed lots of people using it as it was warm again. Lots of the tiles are falling off and it needs renovating. The spa itself is great and we enjoyed a number of treatments. My daughter loved the chocolate massage. The room was very modern and clean. Shower was always warm and powerful. Hair dryer cable was too short and as routed through the drawer was awkward to use, it also tripped when it got warm. All staff members were very friendly and we would happily return. The building works on the new marina were not a problem for us and were interesting to watch. Once completed I feel this areas desirability will increase even more than it is now.
