I have just returned from a weeks stay with my family, 11 of us in total, including 2 small children one teenager and 2 older people in their mid seventies, so a good mix. Apologies in advance for the length of this review but as there are such varied accounts on here I Really wanted to post some details and give an in depth and fair account of what I observed. Pros The pools. Fantastic pools here, really first class. 3 in total, a small self contained pool with a water fountain for smaller children, no more than knee deep and a level depth all over. A large meandering main pool with 3 areas a children's 'beach style' area that started at ankle depth and sloped gently to a depth of 1.30mt at which it stayed for a good distance. It gradually got deeper and narrowed into a short lazy river style pool without current or jets which had a depth of 1.50mt it then opened up into a circular area which was very deep at 2.0mt. The pools are are very cold, which is exacctly what is to be expected in October and meticulously clean. Facilities listed on various travel agent sites include an indoor pool and spa, neither of these were accessible towards the end of the season. The rooms. We stayed in the adjoining apartments. They were spacious and fairly clean upon arrival. However the furniture was very basic although the essentials were satisfactory ie bed and sofabed. The pillows were lovely, clearly new and very fluffy and the blankets thick enough to keep us quite warm during the cooler nights of October. The bathroom was serviceable although really quite small and the shower was an over the bath type which can be awkward and means the floor gets soaking wet after showering children, as you need to keep the curtain half open. That being said the shower was powerful and there was an abundance of hot water. Even though there were two adults and two children showering twice a day the hot water didn't run out once. The towels were changed daily and the bath towels were big enough to accommodate most shapes and sizes. The food. The food in the restraunt was quite varied, buffet style and like all AI hotels, it's all really a matter of taste. I always found something I liked and there were some things I really loved. The Mediterranean beef was absolutely delicious. The pasta dishes not so good. But nobody got ill and nobody went hungry. Breakfast was very good. Better than most other European AI resorts I have stayed in. The English sausages were really English sausages and not frankfurters and the baked beans were Branston or Heinz. There was fresh fruit and cereal each day and pancakes and omlette made fresh every few minutes. Lunch wasn't as good as dinner or breakfast but the selection of salads and cheeses made up for it. The snacks at the pool bar were all wonderful and you never waited more than a few minutes for these. The menu included cheeseburgers, hot dogs and a selection of toasted sandwiches, grilled pittas and of cous fr
