Beautiful place and very helpful staff. The breakfast was excellent. We wish we could have stayed longer. It is some distance from the centre however we can highly recommended it especially in the summer. Lovely garden and view from the terrace.

This place is SUCH a find, we loved it. The welcome is warm - Salvatore is charming - our room was huge (a triple, so we had a little 'sitting room' too) and our balcony had the most wonderful view across Perugia to the hills beyond. There's room to park your car safely @ 10 euros a day - and then it's a lovely easy stroll into the town. But you can retreat back into the quiet and peacefulness of La Residenza after exhausting yourselves walking and sightseeing. The breakfasts are great and the coffee terrific - we just couldn't have been happier with this place. And if you're there - it's only 5 minutes easy walk up to the really beautiful ancient round church of San Michele Arcangeli set in its own little green park - don't miss it

Residenza il Punto is one of the nicest hotels we have ever stayed in. Serene, beautiful, clean, and staff are really good at taking care of visitors. Beautiful visit to a beautiful place in Italy’s Umbria, Perugia. Highly recommend this hotel.

We needed a comfortable place to spend a night en route from Firenze to Gubbio. We found Il Punto online and we’re very glad we did. The location is superb - easy to get to, with fabulous views across the valley, and a short walk from the upper levels of Perugia’s Centro Storico, allowing gentle meanders down to the main piazzas and back up again(or, if you’re lazy like us, a short cab ride). Check in and out was fun and made more so by staff fluent in not just Italian and English, but also French and Arabic. The rooms are large, beautifully furnished and all had terraces with impossibly lovely views across the valley. Breakfast was delicious we left very sad to be going and wishing we could stay another night. One to return to. You won’t find better or better value lodgings in Perugia.

Stayed here for 4 nights. The room is large and very clean, with a nice size balcony, and comfy bed. Smallish shower but big enough and the water pressure was very good. The views across the countryside are spectacular and we never tired of looking out across the scenery. The position is very convenient for walking into town - about 10-15 min via multiple interesting routes - especially liked walking along the old aquaduct. Friendly staff. Note there are no tea making facilities so worth thinking about taking your own. There is a great little wine bar near by further up the road, Il Tempo, that is run by a nice old couple and we'll worth a visit for a great variety of wines. Overall a great stay and would definitely recommend.

We loved our stay at Residenza il Punto. Great location with an enjoyable walk into the old town. Fantastic views. Clean and modern facilities. Patrizia was an attentive host. Potential for 6 stars if a kettle and tea/coffee making facilities were added.

We decided to stay at Residenza il Punto for our wedding anniversary. We just loved it !! Signora Patrizia was very welcoming and gave us a lovely benvenuti by preparing our apartment with nice decorations !!! Apart from that, we had lovely views over the valle each morning.

Spacy and clean hotelroom, nice decor inside the room, and a lovely balcony with the most amazing view I have ever seen from a hotelroom. Staff are really friendly, giving advice about how to get to the city centre, which is an easy downhill walk of 5-10 minutes. On-site parking spaces are 5 euro’s and spacious and easy to get to from the street.

Consigliatissimo...ottimo per la posizione, pulito ed arredato con gusto. Ideale per godersi Perugia vicino al centro. Una bella vista sulla vallata. La proprietaria molto gentile e disponibile. Ci ha consigliato un po' di locali per mangiare tipico.
