Called in here to use the toilet and ended up eating at the bistro. Looked over the menu and opted for winter vegetable soup to start with what tasted like home made bread. I was working my way through the portion when heather reappeared with complimentary chef tasters. I continued with the soup but indulged with the complimentary dishes as well. Heather detailed it was southern fried chicken with a sweet and sour sauce and a mini mini bread. Both were exceptional. When heather came back I asked if I could order the chicken but she explained they were just tasters that would illustrate what to expect of other dishes on the menu. I had ordered haggis neeps and tatties from Jamie who explained they would come out nothing what you would expect from normal restaurant food and sure enough out came the dish like large potato croquttes absolutely unique and outstanding. , both Heather and Jamie delivered the ultimate customer service experience with flawless service completing the whole package. I would go as far as to say this is the best bistro I have ever eaten from. I would not hesitate to recommend this establishment to anyone and will definetely return.

Stopped by for lunch and wasn't disappointed. The chicken parfait was 10/10, and the pork normande special was brilliant. Highly recommend a visit if you get the chance. Very nice front of house staff. Will be back to try some more of the dishes in the future

We were really impressed and will return to sample the duck dish. Staff and food top class. Cajun Chicken dish excellent. Chicken fillets delicious and on healthier side so a guilt-free option. Jamie (Jampot) and fellow server both professional, friendly and sound.

Went with a few family members as they went a few weeks ago and gave me it high praises to me. Went tonight and the staff were absolutely amazing, couldn’t have asked for better. I had the scallops to start which were perfectly cooked and the pea purée was lovely. The haggis crumb was a bit over cooked in my opinion as it was rock solid like pebbles and the sugar snaps were undercooked. Had the duck as my main and it was all beautifuly cooked apart from the undercooked sugar snaps. My brother had the burger and just asked for a plain burger, just burger and bun but it came out with bacon and onion rings. He had the STP for dessert and said there could have been more sauce and a small part of it was rock solid like a brick. My brothers fiancé had the arincini then salmon and it was perfect. Little nephew loved all of his meals. Would definitely come back.

This is a must visit for anyone looking for excellent service, excellent food, and excellent value for money. Ballantyne Chicken and Sticky Toffee Pudding was delicious. Very generous portions. The restaurant was very busy for a Thursday, despite this our dining experience was faultless. Thank you Seaview.

We went to Seaview to celebrate my sister and partner moving to Australia with friends! The staff at Seaview made this extra special for them with a little celebration plate! The food was incredible! It was full of such flavour, we especially loved the Jack Daniel’s chicken fillets and burger! The chunky chips were delicious! I highly recommend you visit the Seaview for any occasion! The staff are so friendly and attentive, with lots of tips on the local area too! We hope next time to stay the night, but they were so popular and fully booked!

We have just returned from a weekend break in Boddam, Peterhead where we stayed at the Seaview Hotel. This hotel is by far one of the best we have ever stayed in. Our Room 6 was so comfortable and the bathroom was huge. The bed was lovely and comfortable and so cosy. The food in the restaurant is first class. The presentation was amazing and beautifully cooked. Well done to all the chefs. But the most important was the staff. They are so friendly, hardworking and efficient, and while they are run off their feet, they always smile. They are like a little family which was wonderful. What would I give thus hotel out of 10? I would give 20! Will I stay again? Definitely, in a heartbeat.

The Seaview sits on the harbour side edge of Boddam, a rather remote village which I hadn’t visited for more than five decades – when I used to buy a poke of chips from a van parked down our way. Things have changed. Now, with The Seaview, you’ll receive the best individual attention and professional hospitality surely to be found along this hard-weathered coastal region. And the best, fresh, Peterhead Haddie and Chips you could ever wish for. Not to mention a truly triumphant Cullen Skink. Jamie and his Team clearly work hard to be warm and welcoming to guests, visitors and yet remain forward-reaching and community-focused to those closer to hand. As a result, lunch was an easy, breezy affair; we loved the animated vibe, the personal attention and the considered menu which manages to deliver to every taste. Do yourself a favour – go the extra mile, go posh or go casual, either way you’ll leave with a smile on your face. Whatever the weather.

What a warm welcome, followed by a beautifully presented and delicious evening meal. The two rooms we booked where stylish, modern and clean. All of the above is true, but what lifts this hotel out of the ordinary is the attention to detail in everything thing they do, from the moment you book to time you leave; the welcome that come from genuine pride in their work, the passion in food they serve, the decor throughout and cleanliness all shine.
