Hotel Riva by Aycon

Absolutely stunning. Immaculate and modern hotel, with exceptionally helpful, polite and friendly staff. Breakfast is ample and fresh and the restaurant for lunch or dinner is by far the best in Petrovac and the cocktails are amazing!!! You get a 10% discount too! Rooms cleaned daily with fresh towels and there is a fridge, kettle and hairdryer. Even had little welcome chocolates for us! It’s right on the sea front and We had a sea view room which I would recommend upgrading to so that you’re not overlooking the back of a supermarket or facing the inside of the hotel. Private section of beach, with sun beds you can secure for €15 per day. Even had waiter service. There is a bar next door called Cuba but to be honest, once we shut our door we didn’t hear much. Just people talking and laughing and enjoying life!!! To make this a 5 star, the owner needs to add a few nice touches such as better toiletries in the bathroom, provide dressing gowns not just slippers and perhaps charge guests less for the sun beds on the beach. Overall, I would definitely recommend coming here.

Absolutely wonderful hotel and staff. Everything was perfect from the moment we arrived. We had a large seaview bedroom, the food was fantastic and very reasonably price. 10% was taken off for drinks and food for the hotel guests. As for the staff, the were fantastic. From the reception staff to the restaurant staff and the cleaners we couldn't praise them enough. They are all a credit to the hotel. We loved that the beach was there right in front of the hotel, you could order your sun beds the night before from reception for a small fee. We used the taxis booked through reception which were very reasonable in price. Would definitely go back and recommend to family and friends.

I highly recommend this hotel. Petrovac is a really nice area to stay in, small ish, on the water, good restaurants, bars, shops, all on the doorstep of the hotel. The other main areas, Budva (30 mins drive) kotor (60 mins) were so worth visiting. The hotel was great, rooms cleaned everyday, all the staff were so friendly, beach towels everyday, reserving sun beds (small cost) was perfect so we didn’t have to set an alarm to wake up. The waiter and lifeguard on the beach really looked after everyone. The breakfast was brilliant, such variety and all really tasty! The reception staff could not do enough for us, resturant bookings, taxis, advice. A tip, highly recommend the taxi company booked through the hotel, the nicest drivers and so much more affordable than grabbing a taxi off the street, we used them a lot, for our airport transfer too! You will see comments about the bar next door. I had an inside view room near the beach front and I could hear the music every night, but my friends who had a room at the back couldn’t. It didn’t bother me, but I could see how it might bother a light sleeper, although stops at 2am. Other recommendations… a drink at the rooftop bar hippocampus for cute views in kotor and Konoba Portun Dobrota for dinner, the most amazing restaurant on the water! .

The good points. Hotel is clean and very well appointed. Staff are super and friendly. Rooms excellent. Breakfast offers a very wide choice. The evening restaurant is class. The bad points. The bar next door, Cuba, plays really, really loud music until 1am, every night. We had one of the sea view rooms. It disturbed us every night. Hotel staff apologised but said they can't do anything. This issue also bothered other guests as well. Sadly it meant out sleep was very broken and made the holiday less enjoyable.

I can't express enough how wonderful our experience was! The view from the hotel is absolutely breathtaking, offering stunning vistas that you won't easily forget. The location is perfect, with easy access to everything you need, from shops and restaurants to the beautiful beach. What really made our stay exceptional was the incredible hospitality of Peter and his wife. They took special care of every guest, ensuring that everyone was happy and comfortable. They are, without a doubt, one of the the best managers I have ever encountered. Peter and his wife checked on us daily, always asking how we were and offering excellent advice about the area. I highly recommend listening to Peter's recommendations – they truly enhanced our visit. If you're looking for a memorable and delightful stay in Petrovac, this hotel is the perfect choice!

We had an amazing stay at Hotel Riva. The rooms are spotless and very comfortable. The continental breakfast has plenty of choice, breads, cheese, cooked meets, pastries and fruit. All staff and especially the waiters were helpful and provided a great service at breakfast and in the restaurant. Petrovac is a lovely resort with some nice restaurants to eat and enjoy the beach and the Mountain View’s.
