OYO 692 Nakara Ayutthaya

This is one of my favorite hostels I've stayed at in SE Asia. Chris the owner is so responsive and a genuinely nice guy. The moment we arrived they had just organized a boat tour at sunset that was leaving and he called us a special tuktuk so we could join the tour. Fruit, water, and coffee is provided in the mornings. Additionally, the beds are insanely comfy and the AIR CONDITIONING is the best of any building I've been in. Prepare to have the coolest and snuggliest night sleep in weeks. Chris even provides a map of all the temples with a self guided tour you can take by renting his bikes. I met awesome people at this hostel, and would certainly stay here again!

When in Ayutthaya, this is the place to stay! The host, Chris, just goes out of his way to make everything happen for you. When I arrived he immediately gave me his What’s Up and told me to reach out at anytime during my stay if I had any troubles. He also sent me two different mapped out routes on Google maps so that I wouldn’t miss any of the important tourist attractions while there and there was this other traveling couple that asked if there was a cooking class available, which there wasn’t, so instead Chris invited us all in to his sisters place to make pad Thai together which was so much fun! There are bicycles available for rent from awesome Jimmy and as he had some free time when I arrived he ended up tagging along on my bicycle trip (but really I was the one following him around) and he guided me around everything from temples to schools and even the local hospital (that I wanted to see since I’m a nurse). He is just the sweetest guy who really knows his way around since he has a background of guiding bicycle tours in Bangkok. Loved every minute of my stay🙏

A perfect stay. We stayed in a dorm, and the beds were comfortable. As soon as we checked in, Chris was extremely helpful and explained the best way to see the sights of Ayutthaya. He went the extra mile as we needed an overnight train to Chiang Mai. He sorted an overnight bus for us. Thanks again!
