At the front desk, I had to ask the staff repeatedly, cause her voice was so quiet when checking in. (She said the name means star.)
Also, she kept telling me to sit over there and wait, and they checked in a long time after the check-in time without giving me a clear reason.
Of course, there was no understanding or apology.
We had to wait until everyone else checked in, and after talking to another staff, they apologized and help us check in quickly.
While waiting for loading our luggage onto the buggy(the male staff took our luggage tag), a female staff member wearing a uniform and with a half-up hairstyle (Don't know her name because she didn't have a name tag) approached us and asked to give her the tag in a hurry.
I said, "The staff took it," but she cut me sharp and kept asking me in an irritated and angered tone, "So which luggage is yours!"
My elderly parents were very embarrassed, and they wondered why the staff member was so rude.
She was literally aggressive and scared the guest. I'm not trying to be like the King and expected much from the thoel.
The buggy driver and the staff at the restaurant were very friendly.
Compared to the hospitality I received the next day at another hotel, I clearly felt that my time at New World was a waste.
That staff does not respect the precious time of people who take their time to come to Phu Quoc for vacation, and they need to check their service manual.
If anyone around me is going to Phu Quoc, I will tell them to avoid New World.
There are so many hotel and Resorts in Phu Quoc..
