Renaissance Phuket Resort & Spa recensioner

Hotel is nice but as others say far outside from downtown (approx. 500 -600 BAH for taxi to Patong) 500 to Airport. We stayed the 2. x here we knew here is a small turtle village with pizza place - pharmacy and supermarket for us is enough. We like it here and can recommend for people who like to stay more quiet and not in the middle of a downtown. Breakfast is great Western & Thai. Beach is here and clean and many tours are available with pick up if u want to go out. The hotel offer Bus shuttle service to the supermarket near by and city.

Good food and good facilities. Front desk staff seemed preoccupied considering it's low season. Poolside, Fitness & F&B service was great.

We arrived late. there were two gentlemen who greeted us with warmth and affection. (Perhaps one of them is the manager since he wears different shirt from others.) They are handsome,polite and speak fluent English. What surprised me was that they could feel the difference from Mandarin , Japanese, and Shanghainese. (Our little daughter speaks Shanghainese and Japanese because her father worked at Tokyo.) That means staffs in this hotel are very smart. Also, everyone will say hello to you with smile and be ready to help you at any time. And during our stay, my daughter was bitten by the mosquito, and was hurt. They sent a pro nursing staff to our room to treat the wound. We felt very comfortable in this hotel and got great experiences. Besides, we would like to say sorry that because of our carelessness that we put the tips near the TV casually on 28th April , the staff who was on duty that day didn’t take her tips. But she still cleaned our room perfectly. Back to the hotel, the room is clean and big, everything we need can be found easily. There are two swimming pools. One for adults, which shares a fabulous view of the sea. The other one is for children. Our daughter enjoyed it so much. The hotel has free shuttle bus to the center and free bicycles. But we chose to eat at the hotel. They’ve got 3 restaurants and one coffee shop. Pizza,Pasta or local Thai food can all be tasted here. That’s enough for us. We’ll definitely choose this hotel again next time we come to Phuket and will definitely recommend to our friends.

I would like to express my appreciation on the hotel staff, Num and Job. Their support has meant a lot to us during our stay. Num is a sincere and caring person who gave us a great surprise for my husband’s birthday. Thank you so much for his kind arrangement. He has been a true blessing for the birthday wishes. Job is a personal trainer in the fitness centre. He taught us how to become fit and did the cardio exercises with us. It was fun! The fitness centre is spacious and clean. We have a great time when we were doing exercises there. Job’s generosity is greatly appreciated. Thank you for his time and support during our stay.

Sorry to comment on car rental here. I just found out I was debited TB5000.00 by Prime Car rental on 14 May, 2024, the day I collected the car. Sure I have paid for rental to Trip upfront. They insist I fill a credit card voucher in case of damage to car, which didn't happen. And I returned car via leaving key in Postbox because we had to check in for return flight before they opened. Kindly check and ask Prime to reimburse for wrongful charges.

The hotel was located with direct access to the beach. There was no beach chairs or umbrellas on the beach. The pool area had limited places to sit with shade. We arrived in the late afternoon and had a light lunch and after this my wife felt ill. We had originally booked the hotel for 7 days but left after just 1 night. The service at the beach restaurant was very slow. The breakfast was delicious and they even had a Bloody Mary station which was nice.

Location: Very close to the airport, Maikao Beach, which means a lot for terrible traffic at Phuket. 5 mins shuttle bus to a shopping and restaurant plaza every few mins. Run or rent a bike from hotel around a lake nearby. Quiet beach area. Food: One of the three restaurant(Thai food and kids menu)is really good. Breakfast buffet is so-so but recommend to try all kinds of eggs. Kids club: A little bit boring which cannot compete with club med mini club. All the other activities and swimming pool is so small and boring. If you are looking forward quiet place, that's a good choice. If you have young energy boy, don't go there. Service: All perfect! P.S. There is also wild massage near the beach of the hotel, the price is reasonable and also have plait hair service like every other hotel beach.

The check-in process is smooth and pleasant. Rin, the check-in receptionist is very helpful and friendly. We like her sweet smiles on her face. Breakfast in the Coffee Shop carries a variety of tasteful food. Staff are all friendly and ready to be at your service. Beach and Pool staff are equally helpful and always carry big smile on their faces. The hotel is so nice and relaxing that we stayed inside for all 5 days and did not leave the premise except for one evening for having outside food for a change. The only "negative" feedback is the limited selection of food within the hotel premise. The limited choice is compensated, again, by the friendliness of the serving staff.

The hotel is located in a beautiful beach. The rooms are big and very comfortable. There is not much around the area. The restaurants are good and the price is reasonable. Also did the cooking class which was amazing. The chef is great and I could choose from the menu what I want to learn. Highly recommend the cooking class!!
