IHOC - Phuket OldTown recensioner

Great location, rooms are tidy and clean, no smell (humidity/mould), manager is nice. The one problem that I had, bathroom was dirty, ground was hairy, pipe was blocked with lots of hair. we checked in very late with a last minute booking, I guess they prepared room (it was clean and sheets, towels was very ok) and forgot bathroom to clean

I really like that hostel and booked it for the second time. The place is the best, everything is really near. I lived in the room for 6. Beds are private, clean and comfortable I have to notice: due to the air con timetable it may be really hot inside the room from 10 to 16, like 30+ degrees. Actually I'm ok with it, but for someone it can be difficult The shower is good, there is hot water, it's clean and I haven't seen any insects at all. One bed is really near the toilet, but I had a different one I also liked the kitchen, common balcony and pool zone. Noone actually uses it, but it's lovely to sit near I only have one complain: phone is not working, I couldn't contact reception. Once I forgot my key (my bad, but) and had to wait 5 hours outside until someone comes. I think someone should be available on the phone for emergencies. I checked if the phone available the next day, but it wasn't In general I love the place and would stay longer

Location and room is good even the men who assist me except for the 2 staff who don't know how to respect guest I don't sleep there for free , even they know someone is sleeping they worked so loud and when you ask them something they are very rude and make face like they don't care

Good service , clean room ,convinced to go anywhere and near resturant and bar. Just walking walking 5 min to phuket town. This hotel have coffe drink bar it’s good option to choose here though!

The accommodation is clean, the staff are friendly and helpful. Although it is a dormitory room, the bed is private with curtains. The accommodation has a cafe on the second floor. Here, there is a free mini-bar breakfast. The cafe has delicious coffee and pastries. And from the evening, it opens as a wine bar.

The location was perfect, and everything was great except that the room service didn’t change the bed sheets and covers daily.
