Hyatt Regency Phuket Resort recensioner

A lovely hotel with excellent service. The check-in experience was delightful, thanks to Madmee, who was exceptionally kind, energetic, and welcoming—setting a great tone for the stay. The team members operating the golf carts were also outstanding, ensuring seamless transportation around the property. The room was spacious but had a low decoration, and the design and furniture felt a bit dated. However, the cleanliness was impeccable, which made up for the aged interiors. Breakfast was excellent, and I had one of the best Eggs Benedict dishes here. However, the service was lacking—staff were not very attentive and were often engaged in conversations with each other, including those from the kitchen team. On the bright side, used plates were cleared promptly. Overall, it’s a good hotel, though it lacks a beach and is a bit far from town and local dining spots. Despite these drawbacks, the staff’s warmth and service make it a pleasant place to stay.

The attitude and service are extremely kind, including transportation to the rooms located on an impressive mountainside! The area is quiet and about half an hour away from entertainment centers. Which is what we were looking for!

Nice place but the rooms are getting tired looking a renovation would probably be a good idea in the near future.... Restaurants on site and breakfast was great, staff very friendly...

This is a review I would have wanted to see before going. Let’s start with the good: the resort is stunning. Very aesthetically pleasing the lights trees and structure. The resort is big so they have pretty little cold carts to take you around the resort that are on call by simply dialing reception. The staff is responsive which is a perk and everyone smiles and is kind. The attitude is a huge plus. You will like that. Now the bad: it will shock you how quickly the room will become completely wet if you turn off the air conditioning. Unfortunately the AC is turned on super low meaning ice cold. As a result difficult to stay in the room without a sweater and socks. The bathtub also wasn’t working properly (drainage) therefore after freezing at night can’t exactly heat up from a nice steamy bath. The shower is okay though If you learn the dials. So I opted for long hot showers but the bathtub was part of my rest time and couldn’t do it. There was no compensation for this events but The staff did offer to change the room but the only available room was deep down on one of the ground floors with not much light and lots of stairs and no view. I opted out of it. The beach: You should know if you think the beach is connected to the resort it isn’t. You’ll have to exit the resort and cross the road to get there. Make sure you carry shoes as it’s a rough sand beach. It’s not the smooth white sand beach I somehow thought it would be but it’s fairly on the cleaner side in comparison to others. If white find sand clean beaches are what you want this isn’t it. The beach is nice to look at from the room though. There is no free minibar etc like other five star restaurants offer so prepare for that. As it’s a resort it will also cost much more than a normal shop. So here is an honest review. Really nice staff,pretty views. Facilities are okay like casa boho was a nice bar. This is what I wish I read before going so I prepare my mind: I left earlier because I just couldn’t relax like I had hoped. Enjoy!!

It is a nice hotel in a good location with views. However, it is a taxi ride to Kamala. Also, because it is spread out over on a steep hill, you go to get golf carts around the resort every where you have to go to. The staff are very good but the wait times for the golf carts can be ridiculous. We waited 20 minutes at reception one night after we came back to hotel. The was only 1 driver for the whole resort and many people were waiting

Our room was clean and neat. We were amazed at how fast they cleaned the room when we left for breakfast and went out for some activities. The staff were friendly, helpful and cheerful. They made us feel v welcomed. We loved the room, the pool, the seaview (right in front of the pool) and it also caters to Muslims as halal food was served during breakfast. It was nice that we managed to capture the sunset. However , the only drawback is its distance away from the town but they have a free shuttle to and fro so not to worry. Overall, we loved it and highly recommended to stay at the resort!

We booked a family room, nice and comfortable stay. Breakfast was good buffet too. Staff friendly and we had to call buggy when we we want to go out from room due to slopes, service usually very quick after we call guest services. Good hotel!

Not a bad stay. However the beach is quite rocky and the properties restaurants are below average. All round fantastic service and beautiful amenities but left a little to be desired.

Very nice resort with a good pool and great food options. Casa Boho - very handy for evening drinks. Unfortunately the gym was poor, especially for avid fitness fanatics who enjoy a workout on holiday. The service was very poor in places especially at breakfast, where it seemed routine to sit guests at a table then disappear before taking tea and coffee orders. Good hotel, but better options out there for sure.

The Hyatt Regency is a beautiful resort with stunning infinity pools, mouth-watering food and delicious drinks. The rooms are spacious and clean with a large balcony that you can enjoy. Staff were always incredibly efficient at bringing things to the room too. Unfortunately, there were a few drawbacks to this trip. The check-in and check-out process was a little disheartening. Even though we arrived a little early, no one really welcomed us and when we approached the check-in counter, we were told check-in is at 3pm and told to just sit and wait. All other hotels, have been so welcoming with a drink and the option to use any of the facilities while we waited. Sadly, this time it was not the case. With our check-out process, we had requested and confirmed a late check out at 1:30pm, but at 12pm, the reception were calling us to check-out. Additionally, we often found the floor of our room wet due to the weather conditions.

The hotel was nice and comfortable. We have spent great holiday there.

Was a wonderful 2 nights stay. Staff were very accommodating n cheerful. Didn't get to enjoy many hotel facilities as we had arranged outside activities. Breakfast was good.
