Very disappointing experience. The reception staff were rude and unhelpful. They ignored multiple calls to the room phone (tried 3–5 times with no answer). Every day, I had to remind them to provide basic complimentary items. On top of that, they demanded an extra 1,200 THB for a guest, even during the day — and this was not mentioned on Trip.com.

Hi!
This is my honest review. Phuket itself is a good place to visit. But Andamantra is the worst hotel i’ve stayed after so many visits in Phuket.
To go to the room you must ride to their tuktuk style service like a buggy to go up to the room. Meaning going up and going out you have to call for the service.
Front desk is not useful you must call them so many times before they answered.
After checking in we went to the room and here’s the thing the keycard is not working.
We called so many times and took a long time no one came. We waited almost 1 hr for the keycard. Luckily there is a staff passing by the hall she helped us if not we will be waiting forever.
The following day, we request for make up room no one came. The third day, morning time we request for towel’s we called so many times no one came. We have to use towel’s from the floor the we put yesterday because we are expecting for house keeping to clean the room.
Checking out is the same, we need to collect the refund but house keeping still not answering.
And no FREE WATER.. like what they told us.
It’s an old Hotel that’s it. Services is so poor.
Driver’s are good & helpful
Their Taxi service is good.

Check-in process took forever!!! Went there in mid-December, high season. The queue was long and my check-in was handled by 4 different staffs (1 gave me form to sign, the manager then assigned the room, 1 more collected deposits, 1 more created the key)- overall took about 10-15mins not including the queue time. I just think the check-in system poorly managed. A lot of customers were complaining.
Aside from that the hotel is beautiful. Swimming pools were lovely, all facing the Patong Beach and sunset. Some areas of the hotel (e.g stairs) could be maintained cleaner.
Spa was superb! Spa buffet for 2 hours amounted to just S$50 (1,350 baht) and you can choose two options between body massage, body wrap, body scrub and facial. Totally worth it! Spa staffs were professional.
Have read other reviews and the conclusion to me is that hotel overall experience is hit and miss. Recommended to stay maybe only during low seasons.

requested a honeymoon setup, but upon arrival, there was nothing prepared. It was very disappointing, especially considering the special occasion.
The room itself had issues too. The curtain was broken and couldn’t close fully, compromising privacy and comfort. On top of that, the room was quite dusty, which made it feel poorly maintained.
Breakfast was another letdown. I tried the cream soup, but the quality was below expectations—definitely not what you’d expect from a hotel of this caliber.
Overall, the experience did not meet our expectations, and improvements are needed to justify the price and reputation.

Room facilities weren’t the newest, the room sink was leaking. But the staff there were very helpful, buggy rides were easily accessible to and fro lobby. Overall will go back and stay again.

Huge resort, great views from balcony,
the bathtub on the balcony was a nice touch,
but the overall cleanliness could be better,
and expect waiting time for the shuttle service
going up and down within the resort compound.

the Location is good , there are three swimming pool and also has good sea view. The driver and public area staff very very kind and helpful. But I cannot believe that there is very rude staff, she is reservation, she speak very rude to me. I don’t remember her name but she told me that she is reservation who work at front office.

I recently stayed at Andamantra Hotel Phuket with my family, booking six rooms for our trip. Unfortunately, our experience was far from satisfactory.
On the first night, one of our rooms had no electricity. We immediately reached out to the reception, and after multiple follow-ups, an electrician finally arrived at 11:30 PM—a full 30 minutes after numerous calls. After checking, he confirmed that the electricity was not working and informed us that there were no available rooms for the night. This left me and my roommate with no choice but to cramp into another family member’s room, which was extremely inconvenient.
The next morning, the hotel manager assured us that the issue would be resolved and suggested that we request a refund for the night we couldn't stay in the room. The electricity was only restored at 9 PM the following day—nearly 24 hours later. To make matters worse, despite the manager’s assurance, we were later informed that the hotel would not issue a refund.
This entire experience was frustrating and disappointing, with poor service recovery and a lack of accountability from the management. The only saving grace was Thuza, the receptionist who handled our checkout—he was helpful, professional, and well-mannered.
I cannot recommend Andamantra Hotel Phuket based on my experience. If you’re considering staying here, be aware that customer service and problem resolution may not meet expectations.
⭐ 1/5 – Avoid unless service improves.
