Sugar Marina Hotel -Aviator- Phuket Airport recensioner

The hotel is quite convenient from the airport and the rooms are fairly clean well exept for the hall way. However their fan and the table lamp on at the reception area can use a little dusting, you could visibly see the spider webs and the dirty. The stuff was helpful when checking in and out and when I stored my lagguage.

Very convenient hotel close to Phuket airport. It has everyone needs to start your holidays in Phuket.

Not super clean. The floor had not been swept and there was some strange looking stains on the curtains. Good location though (walking distance from airport)

Nice design hotel and close to the airport where you can go by walk

The room was big enough, clean and tidy. Check-in service was just okay. The hotel lobby has stairs going to the desk so you would need to carry your luggages. The hotel staff does not assist you. Didn’t really get to see the amenities as I was only there for the night before my flight early in the morning the next day. There was a supermarket and massage parlour right across, and restaurants all around. It’s also just 5 mins from the airport so it’s convenient.

Fancy themed hotel with retro aviation designs in hallways and rooms. However, there is no laundry room, which is different from the listing and have to walk a distance to get to the nearest laundromat. Also have to pay 250 baht for the airport transfer. It is not free. Overall, satisfying stay with a big bed.

lovely hotel situated within close proximity to airport, very convenient to stay if you have an early flight to catch! decent amenities & room size, and maybe don’t hang around in the lobby itself for too long as there are many mosquitoes!

Sugar Marina Hotel near Phuket Airport offers the convenience of a short commute, making it ideal for travelers with early or late flights. The rooms are stylishly designed, and the staff is generally helpful. However, there were notable downsides during my stay. The pool was not well-maintained and appeared unclean, which was disappointing. Additionally, I suspect I encountered bed bugs, as I experienced bites after sleeping. The breakfast service was also too short, leaving little flexibility for guests with varying schedules. While the hotel has potential, improvements in cleanliness and guest comfort are needed to make it a more enjoyable experience.

Cleanliness - there were old stains on the headboard and couch but I’m fine with these as long as they have been handled by cleaning agents 😆 daily housekeeping is great! Location - super near from the airport but it’s an hour by car to popular places like Patong and Central Phuket. Food choices nearby are great and there is a 7 Eleven within walking distance. Service - reception staff are always responsive to requests. Appreciate their professionalism! 😀 Amenities - slippers and toothbrush are not provided, which is a common practice nowadays. View from my room 202 was nice! TV is the room is installed using a flexible bracket and picture quality was great! Overall great value for money! The only thing that really annoyed me was an incident where the hotel’s email got hacked and I received a scam message via WhatsApp to provide personal information and payment, which Trip and the hotel did not provide any proper resolution or explanation to the customer.

Hotel is on the great location. Near by nai yang beach and national park. Bed very comfortable but there is the dust in the room. Less parking.

Good location not far from the airport but very quiet,swimming pool is very good for swimming with children not deep and comfortable. Easy to walk around close to all store and restaurants on the street. Highly for who flying home and want to just stay in the hotel and relax.

Staff amazing. Extremely friendly and hospitable. However it just lacked the extra qualities. Shower was not too clean also the pool had many large bugs floating. Breakfast had quite a minimal variety.. But overall a great over night stop over. I would stay again for a night.
