Staying at this hotel for the entire trip was the biggest mistake. Breakfast required waiting in line, and the food served was basically the same ingredients used for the dinner buffet. Checking in also required waiting in line, the pool was small and overcrowded, and the staff were inexperienced and unprofessional.
I paid a deposit, but because I had dinner that exceeded the deposit by 270 baht, the hotel kept chasing me to pay the balance. Since I was out all day for my itinerary, they sent reminders every day to settle the bill. When checking in, my credit card was declined due to exceeding the credit limit, and I could only pay for one night’s deposit. The staff said if I didn’t come down to pay the deposit by 11 PM, they would come knocking on my door. I was two minutes late, and they actually called my room.
The night before checking out, I cleared all the fees and checked out in advance. The staff assured me that the next morning I wouldn’t need to queue and could simply leave the room key. However, the next morning, when I left the key, I was forced to queue for check-out! They refused to let me leave and started checking the room and the bill, saying I needed to pay an additional 3,000 baht deposit. I explained multiple times that I was running late for my flight, but the staff didn’t care and took over 10 minutes to check everything before letting me leave.
It was an absolutely horrible experience, and I will never stay at this hotel again.
