Anchan Resort at Bangtao Beach recensioner

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Anchan Resort, and I can't recommend it enough! The owner, a wonderful Chinese gentleman, truly made our experience unforgettable. He is incredibly multilingual and was always ready to assist us in various ways. From helping us with bookings to finding local attractions and even exchanging money, he went above and beyond to ensure we had a smooth stay. There were moments when we found ourselves short on cash, and he was there to guide us through it without any hesitation. The resort itself is lovely; the rooms are spacious, clean, and very comfortable. Each morning, the owner also cooked breakfast, which was a delightful touch that made our stay even more enjoyable. Overall, I had a fantastic experience at Anchan Resort, and I would definitely book again in the future. If you're looking for a welcoming atmosphere and exceptional service, this is the place to stay!

The owners are incredibly friendly and accommodating, the room and facilities are clean and well kept. Nearby is walking distance to many restaurants and shops. I'm returning on my next stay here.

The photos on Trip.com looked amazing . When I booked it and went to check in , I was taken to a run down room , very old and not been renovated . Shower didn’t work , TV didn’t work . Manager tried very hard to fix shower 🚿 so it was ok but couldn’t fix the TV :( There was no lightning going to the second floor at night so was very dark . Lucky I had my phone light . I paid £70 per night and felt it should be a 2 star hotel and NOT 4 star as Trip.com suggest . So be careful booking a old hotel ( they called it a Resort ) always book a NEW modern hotel so you will not be disappointed .

Accommodation is a little worn. The location was useful for shops, bike rental and the airport bus stops a 15 minute walk away.

Close to the beach...lots of construction around so things must be coming for this area. Food is more expensive in this area than expected. Owners are very friendly and kind, and helpful with any request.

Ye is very nice and helpful. He let me check in very early. Its a very relaxed atmosphere. It's a little walk to the beach so if you don't have a bike like me it can be a little difficult getting around from this place but if you like walking like me itll be OK. About 500metres down the road there are a couple of nice places to get a bite on the beach and everything you can walk to in around 10 to 20 minutes. Don't bring kids here unless you've got transport. The room was clean and looked great was spacious but did have that kinda old smell to it. The bed was quite firm though but the pillows were great. The bath looks great but unfortunately the hot water wasn't orking and neither was the kettle in my room so I only got to enjoy a like warm bath. There not complimentary water here which is a problem given you'll have to go on a little hunt to find the store. The beds pictured next to the pool are unfortunately quite aged and in need of replacement which was a shame because they looked so relaxing in the pictures. I got this room at a rate I might have expected a little bit more from but overall the experience was OK it was what you expect from a lower end range accommodation plus Covid so be kind the host is helpful which makes a big difference :)

Sehr freundlicher Hotelbesitzer! Er gab uns viele Tipps für Essensmöglichkeiten in der Nähe, für den weiteren Transport und wir hatten sehr interessante und nette Gespräche mit ihm. Ausstattung des Zimmers ist auch sehr gut, sowie auch die Lage der Unterkunft. Mit dem Moped oder auch zu Fuß ist der Strand Bang Tao Beach, der TopDailyShop (vgl. 7/11) und diverse Restaurants (darunter auch die beste thailändische Küche gleich nebenan) sehr gut und schnell zu erreichen. Alles in allem, top Unterkunft! 👌🏽
